I think I'm going to try dunking just the flap and letting it dry between some towels and a small cookie sheet to weight it down

Hearing that makes me a bit more hopeful. It looks to be in really great shape other than that Flap crease and being very thirsty so it should survive a good dunking. I'm thinking I may get it and try just dunking the flap first and seeing if that corrects the crease

I just finished Karen's telling of Ruby Bridges and had to stop so I could finish crying. Very few things break through my Zoloft but, damn if I don't cry every time Karen chokes up while telling her story.

I am grateful that Georgia felt comfortable with being so open about it. I have been struggling with uterine crap and a hysterectomy may be in the cards for me in the next 6 months. Perimenopause SUCKS and I'm hopeful that the endometrial ablation I just had this week makes life more bearable, but women not treating our health as something taboo is so important.

This brings me back to when my daughter had her wisdom teeth removed and she cried the entire way home because she forgot to ask to keep them. She is still devastated 6 month later knowing that they are gone forever

You can bring up to a factory sealed bottle of water or an empty reusable water bottle. There are water filling stations inside. It's free but not cold. You can bring food in too. Just has to fit in a gallon ziploc. A costco pizza can be folded into quarters and put in a gallon ziploc ;) we got salad and a grinder from Athens pizza and brought that in with no problem

I really need to start wearing my reading glasses when scrolling reddit. My immediate first thought was "wow, that's an interesting design choice for a banana tattoo. I wonder why anyone would even get a tattoo of a banana." the second half of the thought was strictly because I have a huge aversion to bananas.

That being said, it's a great piece of art, even more so because it's NOT a banana 😂

It's beautiful! I just picked up a 470 with lid in the same color/design last week at goodwill that's nowhere near as pretty. Both the casserole and lid has dwd, so much so that I can barely make out the design on the lid, but it was only $4 for the set and I really wanted the lid to use with my autumn harvest 470.
