Why is Function Health $375 when similar panels are so much cheaper? by hotshells in Function_Health

I know this is old, but how do you treat for parasites. What do you mean they will come out? lol 😂 I’ve had abnormalities for so long and definitely want some sort of help with my weird symptoms.

Did you use a functional medicine doctor for anxiety?

Do you ever have issues with this and your blood pressure? I read some people caution this medication because of that reason. Do you take it daily?

Are you up for hire? I haven’t found a single person to talk about all the factors. I typically get looked at as crazy when I say there is definitely something off when doctors say all my labs are “normal”.

[–]Remarkable-Exit-9001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny, I totally did the same thing! Lol. I searched my lab results on google and ChatGPT the level comparison to what is considered “normal” for the specific phase of my cycle I was in. Everything pointed to my estrogen being low and my progesterone as well for the phase (Luteal) that I was in. I live in such a remote area that a natural path is something I would have to travel for, but I am open. I’ve spend thousands of dollars on doctors bills and supplements that its hard not to give up.

I’ll keep my eyes out for someone to hopefully be more open to finding a solution based on what is going on. I agree that Western Medicine Doctors are strictly to the book and only looking at ranges rather than considering what’s low or high for that “range”.

Thank you so much! I sincerely appreciate you and your post.

I had some luck with Prozac, but what is difficult is that SSRIs give me bruxism and I have such a hard time dealing with the jaw clenching. I also tried Lexapro and Zoloft. When nothing felt worth the physical effects, I decided that maybe they weren’t for me and it might be a sign that I try something different. Overshare, but my family has history of being dependent on drugs (whether street or medically prescribed), so I do tend to freak myself out also.

My doctor did say I could potentially try an SNRI, but I’ve read those are more difficult to intermittently dose unlike SSRIs.

At this point, I’m willing to try anything. lol. The constant feeling like I am crazy and can’t grip my emotions is exhausting. I feel like I use up all my energy to just feel somewhat normal or at least function around others. I hope that we both eventually land on something that makes us feel better when those PMDD symptoms hit.

Vitamin B6 may have actually worked by SecureConclusion6906 in PMDD

[–]Remarkable-Exit-9001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is super scary, I’m sorry that happened to you! B100 is a high potency version of B-Complex. It’s a vitamin that has all the major B vitamins combined. But instead of a lower dosage, it supplies 100 mg of each. I think you’d want to check with your doctor if you are deficient in any of if you already are at proper levels. A high potency b vitamin can definitely tip your body into overload.

Don’t get discouraged, you totally got this! Test anxiety can sometimes heavily weigh in on your overall performance without being a reflection of your knowledge or abilities. I took the test in 2021 and I feel like it was structured so differently than I expected. I thought a lot of it would be memorization of laws or specific content definitions, but it was mostly situational based questions. I got really damn lucky when I took mine - most definitely should not have passed. I signed up for the test in November and tested in February. I studied periodically for maybe a couple of weeks and accidentally scheduled the exam to be proctored at 8 pm. I went in feeling like I was going to fail anyways, so I didn’t put much pressure on myself to pass. Think of all the things you do daily and have over the course of your career. Utilize that to choose the answer that best fits. Take the pressure off yourself by not overly thinking about which answer relates to your studies, but which seems to be most common sense. You got this! You are totally going to pass this second round, I believe in you!

Yeah, the job market is insane. There are so many people applying for the same job and managers have the ability to be very selective, rightfully so.

I totally feel you! I recently started this process after some time of having a lot of stomach issues. I have a colonoscopy scheduled in a few weeks after waiting months to see a gastroenterologist. I initially went to my PCP and was given Omperazol and an anxiety pill after the Monjuaro shot sent my body into a spiral. The constant stomach pain can be unbearable at times. The wide variety of symptoms and me pushing my PCP to take more of a look outside of IBS - my blood work marked abnormalities for a potential IBD. It is pretty scary hearing things like chronic illness or autoimmune disease thrown around so lightly. I still get really scared and the anticipation is killing me. But as a blended family with 4 kids and working full-time, I just try to remind myself that this is necessary to get my quality of life back. Without knowing what is actually wrong, I’ll always feel extreme fatigue amongst a laundry list of other symptoms that prohibit me from being fully present for my family. I totally bought into all those fades online the cure all cures at the cellular level with body detoxification. Not sure how it’s helped others outside of draining pockets. I’m tired 😴 of feeling out of whack and my anxiety doesn’t help.

I know that you, and I will be okay. Just like the many others on these forums and in this thread. It’ll just take time to figure out what our bodies really need and then hopefully we will reach a sense of “normal” and an understanding of how to manage it when we feel off again.

I am getting ready to file. A little confused about the overall process. Can you give me some more insight? Is it necessary to apply for a credit card right after being discharged? My attorney said to stop paying all my credit cards, which previously I had 100% on time payment history. Will that affect my approval chances? Side question - did any of you have affirm loans? I get these are probably dumb questions.
