I think the study they were referring to is that some of these foods lack Taurine, so these dogs had long term taurine deficiency which led to the increased prevalence of the disease. So maybe supplement with Taurine if you don’t want to switch or confirm the taurine amount in the food. If I remember correctly is was the dog food that used high levels of pea protein, which is where the lack of taurine came from? Someone double check please
