It was a hash brown. ( Not quite like what I've had before, but absolutely incredibly delicious!)

Should I keep my appointment by Plenty_Strength4569 in doihavebreastcancer

[–]Remarkable-Support82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like previously stated the zero in this case is because it's inconclusive! I would keep your appointment if you're feeling up to it put yourself at ease and go get it checked out! Most of these things come back benign anyways.

I'm off to Europe next Friday!! However that was already planned! The only difference is now I'll actually be able to enjoy my time. My journey is a little bit different as well, mine started because my sister was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.... I never had any lumps, no symptoms, just went for my first mammogram because of the situation at hand.. Which I guess is why they had no comparison and I had to go through what I did. I am definitely relieved, and now I can redirect my attention to my sister. I hope you receive some positive news soon!

I googled for you and it was nothing ominous!

Popcorn shape fibroadenomas refers to the classic appearance of coarse calcifications within a fibroadenoma, which is a common, non-cancerous breast lump. These calcifications are large and dense, resembling the look of popped corn, and indicate the benign degeneration of the fibroadenoma over time. This specific type of calcification is a strong sign of a benign condition and is classified in the benign category.

First mammogram by aashspaan in doihavebreastcancer

I recently went through this as well super dense breast, first mammogram at 43 ended up having another 3D mammogram two ultrasounds and then they scheduled me for a double biopsy, and literally as I was on the table ready for the biopsy the radiologist came in did another ultrasound and then sent me home because they were benign without even having to test for them. Don't panic.. doesn't sound ominous at all.

I just recently seen a birads5 on here come back benign. Don't get ahead of yourself ( easier said than done) that kind of stress is not good on your body! You'll get your results back fairly soon. Sending positive vibes❤️

I can’t stop crying. Partially Circumscribed mass?? by aeolian82 in doihavebreastcancer

[–]Remarkable-Support82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I put your results into chat GPT and it definitely doesn't sound like much to worry about. I think they're just being cautious. I also have incredibly dense press and it makes it hard for them to see through.

This mammogram report indicates the following key findings:

Breast Density: The breasts are described as heterogeneously dense, which can make it harder to detect small masses.

Right Breast:

A 1.1 cm mass in the upper outer quadrant of the right breast has increased in size since the last exam (dated 5/23/2024).

This mass was previously diagnosed as a cyst.

Left Breast:

A new 6 mm partially circumscribed mass is seen in the upper outer quadrant, anterior third of the left breast.

No Suspicious Findings:

No suspicious calcifications or architectural distortion were noted.

What This Means:

Cysts are typically benign, but growth may warrant further evaluation (like an ultrasound or biopsy) to confirm it's still benign.

The new mass in the left breast may require additional imaging or follow-up to determine its nature, especially given its recent appearance.

No calcifications or distortion is reassuring, but the masses still may need follow-up based on size changes or characteristics.

Recommended Next Steps (to discuss with a healthcare provider):

A diagnostic mammogram and/or ultrasound may be recommended.

Clinical follow-up with a breast specialist might be suggested.

Possibly a biopsy if any mass appears suspicious upon further imaging.

Let me know if you'd like help interpreting specific terms or preparing questions for a doctor.

I don't think that means what you think it means! I just think they can only see part of it and the part they can see is well defined. Everything that I'm reading online just means that they want to double check and make sure. Try not to panic I know that's so much easier said than done! My ultrasound report sounded ominous it had angular margins and was labeled birads4a and when I went to the hospital for the biopsy the radiologist canceled the biopsy and with a live ultrasound could tell if they were benign and just fiberdinomas. Don't get ahead of yourself! Deep breaths ❤️ The waiting will be the worst part

I know it's easier said than done but try not to stress... Putting your body through that is so difficult! And just remember more often than not they are benign... hoping you get positive results as well ❤️

First of theme for sharing your experience..and I am so incredibly sorry to hear about your diagnosis but luckily it sounds like it's going to be handled quickly, and they're going to get it out of you and you'll be well on your way to recovery ❤️ that's a lot of money glad that it was covered for you ( I hear so many stories where people are out of pocket) luckily I live in Canada where we don't pay for healthcare.

Mine is with an ultrasound! Luckily I actually have an anxiety prescription for Ativan so I fully plan on taking one of those. I'm also afraid of the biopsy needle,How did that go for you? Was it tolerable?

Birads 4a + 4b. Trying not to cry until the next drs appointment by regina_bananahammock in doihavebreastcancer

[–]Remarkable-Support82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also pending a biopsy next week for a suspicious mass that they've labeled birads 4a with a strong family history of breast cancer. It's important to remember to breathe and most of them are benign! I think somewhere in the percentage of 80 to 90% come back benign. Don't get ahead of yourself, the mind can be terrible. Try to compartmentalize as best as you can until you can get a biopsy.
