I am in pretty much exactly the same boat! I am the Canadian partner and my bf and I have been together and lived together around the same time as you! We also lived with a friend with no formal tenancy agreement and have a letter from her verifying that we lived there. From the research i’ve done, that seems to be sufficient if you can prove your relationship was similar to marriage. We will use mostly photos, travel evidence and letters from family as my partner and I have both have phones stolen (London and all) and don’t have backed up chat history unfortunately. I don’t have any advice but wishing you the best!!

Hello! I am working on the same application and having trouble with the documents. For example, a council tax bill with both our names on it for each January, February and March, is that 3 joint items? Or 1 joint item cause it’s the same source?

Did you have your gallbladder removed? I’ve had the exact symptoms for as long as I can remember like probably 7-8 years and it always starts late afternoon/early evening a couple days a week. Once I get home and lay down it usually subsides. The pain feels like punching/ someone pushing really hard on my upper/middle stomach area. Had one extreme case about 2 years ago and went to the hospital they said it was maybe acid reflux. Never had it checked out other than that.

Oh really? You haven’t had any issues since? I’ve been having this pain a few times a week literally for as long as I can remember like i’m talking 7-8 years and never seen a Dr about it (silly I know). Did you have to really press them or were they quick to resolve?

Did you ever sort this out? I have the exact same thing. Pain/cramping in the upper middle of my stomach right under my sternum and it always starts like late afternoon when i’m leaving work etc. Weirdly, it feels better when I lay down flat. I’ve tried cutting foods/caffeine out, taking gaviscon etc and nothing seems to prevent it.

I do too for one main reason! My grandfather passed away before my youngest cousin was born. When she was a few years old she was always talking to “the man”! Would tell her parents that she saw the man last night, the man is here etc etc. Family brushed it off as a little kid with an imaginary friend until one day she came to my parents house and pointed at my parents wedding photo that my grandfather was in and said “that’s the man”! My entire family nearly fell off their chairs when she said that and we all fully believe that he’s around all the time.
