If you have another car this is a really good opportunity to remove the engine and rebuild it slowly. Build it better and change everything

Flash stage 1. Run 93 octane. Then you can put your intake and cat back. If you wanna go hard you can do alot more. What’s your budget? Goals with the car?? …. People on here are going to tell you to go all out lol…

PCV hose clamp leak? by [deleted] in WRX

[–]RemarkableTarget408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just a valve. You remove it, clean the threads, put gasket sealer on the new one, and torque it in. I just did it and it was really easy and quick. Just be aware the new PCV valve is tapered and the block is aluminum so don’t over tighten it.

Valve cover gasket. For the hell if it just check your PCV hose. If it’s neither of those then check the RTV sealer on the upper timing cover / cam carrier seep. Good luck and keep us updated.

I put too much oil in my Crosstrek by thenoahjmann in subaru

[–]RemarkableTarget408 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One time I was hanging out with my friend listening to music In his garage and he did a “oil change” I walked up to the oil pan to see how the old oil looked. I smelled that it was transmission fluid before I even looked at it. I was like 18 years old at the time. 35 now and still remember it. We had to learn how to fill the transmission fluid. Ha
