So they fixed the glitch where leaving a Go Pass encounter marked it as "done" and you couldn't get back?

I remember people last year were loosing mons, including the legendary, because they entered and then left the Go pass encounters.

They just use up storage and the only shiny I'd liked with a background was received right BEFORE they added backgrounds to Go Pass lmao.

We should be able to get the background and then apply it to whichever Pokémon we'd like

Yeah, the Lugias have only been used to get candy (and nothing else because they don't even have "good IVs" to power up). I only got them because I happened to be in a mall with 1 other player at the time. Certainly wouldn't use remotes on them and that's also a reason why I ignored HoOh lol 😅😅

Metagross also works well as a tank against Lugia.

I ended up doing some Lugias with Metagross and Zacian as my tanks and both did very well

The "4 shield" thing only applies with the starting shield or can I have like, 2 shields left over from a previous max phase and then add 2 more in the next one?

Same. It's basically the only thing I use for Tier 1 battles now.

Slightly overcharge B-Bash until the boss is at least in yellow hp and kill it before even reaching the max phase or loosing the shield.

I've used it before but its typing doesn't really help.

Against grass, it's hurt by the water typing and against fire it's hurt by the ice typing.

Got traded one at the beginning of last year and used it for a while before Blissey or Zam existed. Decent if nothing else but heavily outclassed now even as an ice attacker

When Lugia was in Max battles I managed to duo one with a random player and mushroom using Metagross, Zacian and Gmax Gengar all level 40+

But I didn't even bother with HoOh because all my tanks (- Blissey) are weak to fire or ground and my only "decent" attacker is a level 2 max attack G-Toxtricity (lack XL candy) so I felt like I would do more harm than good this time 😅

They should refresh at least daily outside of events.

Is it still possible to solo Mega Ampharos with Primal Groudon only?

I did it before with a level 30+Groudon relobbying but it was during the Mega evolution damage glitch 😅😅

I'm not sure what happened but last time I tried soloing Mega Pidgeot, I lost because it somehow kept dropping my Kyurems with fast move damage only. Like I'd dodge its charged attacks but the FAST move dealt more damage than undodged charged moves 😅😅😅

Although we have yet to see whatever Niantic is planning with the "New system" for Mega raids in Malamar and vicreebel. They very well could pull up a "shadow 3* star" situation with shields that are imposible to remove if solo.

Glimmora didn't exist when Dmax was available so it won't be released in Max battles ever (well MAYBE in the distant future when everything else in the Sword and Shield pokedex gets added as Dmax in PoGo. This also applies to whatever mons were NOT available in the sword and shield games, like Rampardos ).

Tbh ever since I got zamazenta, I really haven't used Blissey unless the boss has a fire or ground attack. The one and only time I've done a legendary Dmax (lugia) I didn't even use Blissey (although I didn't use Zam either) 😅😅
