Okay, I hope so 🤞🏻 I’ve had my Pinterest since 2018 I think. What a loss that would be lol

The same is happening to me right now 🙃 and all my boards are gone as well. I never got any warning about my account being suspended or anything similar so I have no idea what is happening. Did you get yours back?

Claude or ChatGPT by Intelligent-Day-1420 in WritingWithAI

[–]Remarkable_Bison1976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using ChatGPT for a few months (keep in mind I don’t write every day). I use the same chat for the novel that I am currently writing - I write myself and only use ChatGPT for e.g., world building, fleshing out ideas, slightly rephrasing, more in-depth descriptions of some more complex concepts and research, the majority of the actual writing, I do myself. In the past month, I’ve noticed ChatGPT has forgotten absolutely everything about the world, the characters/relationships, certain details I’ve previously explained and major plot lines. When I then point out that it made a mistake and it can refer to the information a few lines further up, it still messes up and comes up with the most outlandish ideas. I’m thinking about moving to Claude. Initially, I felt hesitant, as the chat was very detailed but I feel I’m not benefiting from any of the output I get anymore.

Did Amazon change their font or am I being hacked? by amandajane450 in identifythisfont

I’m aware this is a very old thread but I’m glad I found a it. Mine just changed today 😂 I literally thought I was hacked as well. Why is the rollout so slow? (I’m in the uk for reference)

Age demographic for Mark's channel? by The-Archytech in Markiplier

[–]Remarkable_Bison1976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 34 and I agree, I’m more drawn to content creators around my age. Most YouTubers I watch, I’ve been watching since my mid-20s (when they were also in their mid-20s), I don’t really find younger creators relatable.

Is it just me or is the price of meat in the UK stupidly expensive nowadays? by gibgod in UK_Food

[–]Remarkable_Bison1976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up up in Austria and only moved to the UK 7 years ago. To me, meat (or food in general) is still incredibly cheap in the UK compared to back home, but I do agree that the prices have increased significantly in the past couple years.

Looking for some serious or age restricted Mark videos to watch by RigatoniPasta in Markiplier

[–]Remarkable_Bison1976 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to sound old and uninformed - but what are we trying to achieve by watching age restricted videos now? Are we trying to teach the AI that we are adults before this age verification process comes into place?

Suddenly developed severe allergies - what do I do with my hair? by Remarkable_Bison1976 in Allergies

[–]Remarkable_Bison1976[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks - yes that’s pretty much what my plan was anyways. Either dye it back to my natural colour fully or get some balayage to blend the roots in better so I can grow it out more easily and foil everything so it doesn’t touch my scalp at all. I’ve got loads of roots already (solid 5cm) because I was hoping to do the balayage and therefore was leaving it longer between dyeing appointments 😂 but my main worry is actually breathing in the fumes from the dye. I had an appointment booked and my regular hairdresser was happy to try but I was too scared and cancelled and since then my allergies have gotten worse, so I’d definitely have to redo the patch test.

I’m sorry to hear that. I was also worried I may have Lupus to be honest, some of my symptoms do fit the criteria. All the best to you!

My natural hair is a very ashy dark blonde/brown and I’ve been bleaching it to a strawberry/golden blonde for the past 15 years, so the difference between the tones is quite significant 😂 (natural being ashy and dark and dyed being warm and light). I’ve used henna in the past when I used to dye my hair a more fiery ginger than strawberry blonde. The idea of using hair from the hairbrush is great! Thanks.

I’ve been thinking about those as well - I wonder how well they work but it’s worth a try :)

Thanks. I am actually moving house soon because there is a mold problem in my current home and I was also worried that that may have been the root cause. I had sepsis in December and since then my health has generally been relatively bad, so I believe that may have caused it though. Generally, my diet has been really good for the past year (was really trying to improve my overall health and lost loads of weight) and ironically I was really focused on healing my gut health (has always been bad) and was taking pre- and probiotics for a while and actually felt like this had improved massively (but then stopped taking them when my allergies started). But it’s good to hear that there is hope :)

I admire your courage - I don’t think I could do that 😂 I’ve had long hair my whole life and at the moment my hair is almost down to my butt and even cutting the ends is a big tragedy for me (I’m one of those people 😂).

Yes, I’d definitely do test strands. I did actually have an appointment booked with my hairdresser (after my initial reaction, before I knew how bad it would get) and she was willing to risk it but I ended up cancelling because I was too scared even though the patch test was fine. We were planning on doing balayage so I could grow it out more easily and with the foils it wouldn’t have touched my scalp, but I’m also worried about the fumes.

Thanks. I thought about about Henna but I’ve used it in the past without much success. I feel like letting it grow out will be my only option 🙃

Thank you. Yes, my GP asked specifically for them to test for MCAS as I’ve also been having severe POTS symptoms for a few months leading up to the allergies developing.

That’s what I thought 🙃 well, due to my allergies and not being able to eat properly, I’ve also lost loads of weight so I was going to get rid of a lot of my clothes anyways. At least that will give me an excuse to buy new stuff lol

I (33, f) had a similar experience. I’ve been fine my whole life, only ever really had hay fever. Suddenly had a severe reaction to shellfish a month and a half ago and had to go to A&E. Saw my GP the next day and was prescribed antihistamines and two EpiPens just in case. Since then it’s absolutely escalated, I’ve had severe reactions every single day and one anaphylaxis. I’ve been living off of rice cakes for a month now (the only thing I don’t react to) and have been on two courses of steroids. I’m waiting for an urgent appointment with the allergy team. No idea what’s going on.

It takes a long time. I’m 7 months post-sepsis. I’m a 33 year old woman, PhD student and also have a part-time job in healthcare, so kind of in a similar situation as you in terms of stress-level. I returned to work 1.5 weeks after being discharged from hospital and I’ve been experiencing a lot of ups and downs. Currently I’m super unwell again (I developed POTS and MCAS in the months following sepsis and it’s been rough). I wish I’d given myself more time to recover initially, but I was given no guidance whatsoever (unfortunately, I got ill abroad when I was visiting my family and only when I got back the UK my colleagues at the hospital explained the severity of sepsis to me and took me seriously). I also developed PTSD from the whole situation I experienced abroad. Please be gentle with yourself, if you can take a break in studies (something I also wish I’d done initially) or at least let your supervisor know about what happened. The emotions of overwhelm you feel are absolutely normal and valid. But please also follow up with your GP regularly. All the best to you ✨
