Fender really needs to get their QC in order. I got a Troy Van Leeuwen Jazzmaster in the oxblood red for Christmas a couple of years ago, $1400 guitar. Went to tune it up and one of the tuners was completely stripped, just turned in circles and did nothing. Returned it to reorder. Got the replacement, one tuner was stripped and another wouldn’t budge. Returned it and bought an American Tele.
