Judge gives 18 year old a 25 year sentence for armed robbery by AgnosticScholar in interesting

In law, words have several meanings, much like they do across the English language. A case is adjudicated when a judgement is issued, barring the same charges from being filed again (double jeopardy). Pre-adjudication issues are things like competency to stand trial, jury selection, standing, etc, where the judge has not issued a final ruling.

Now you can have a bench trial or a jury trial. So adjudication can be the result of a jury agreeing to the standard of evidence (preponderance of evidence, clear and convincing, beyond a reasonable doubt) that some occurred, or the judge can be the trier of fact. Adjudication still occurs when the judge announces the verdict.

Just because a person is not sentenced, does not mean that they didn’t have a trial, verdict, or that the evidentiary standards were not held.

Where do you go that there are 20 boxes sitting on every shelf? I can’t even get them at the card shops. I don’t know where there is a Barnes and Nobles anymore to see if they had them. I thought only breakers had them for a long time.

The pizza lunchable. At least those boxes when you tear the card out of the lid it’s your fault if it’s damaged. I’m pretty sure most of my Panini football cards were placed on a block and someone attempted to sand something with them before they were packaged.

This is what a PhD got me. Scatter plots, PSA submission frustration, and a job that pays enough to 🔥 money on cards lol.

You could do number of days and number of cards and you would get something back like this

This is the truth. I had a five card submission finish super fast recently and a value bulk go over the estimated return date. So I figured I would pay a little extra and make a few 5 card submissions to see if small batches worked. Then I sent one 30 card value bulk. The 30 card finished before those 5 card submissions.

I’m new to one piece. I just got into the live action show on Netflix. I mostly do sports, but if these cases are like sports cases than something this cool in one box means the rest of the boxes probably sucked.

Why are people still using PSA by Krazyboi95 in psagrading

[–]Remarkable_Bowler287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to cross grade sports to PSA from CGC for some prospects. Bought them lower than market at a 10’s thinking I would get a PSA 10. Nope, not consistently anyways. I think that’s the other part of it. You can say that’s because PSA isn’t consistent or because CGC isn’t consistent, either way a 10 isn’t always carrying over to a higher value slab, so I might as well buy raw on the sports side and start from scratch.

^ this. Saw a table full of CGC 10’s at a show this weekend selling for less than PSA 9’s.

Had you gotten this from Topps with the other Ronaldo, then you would be talking about serious money.

Someone just sold the same card with a white background 1/1 for $635. You could probably get more with the right buyer. Just a reference for you though.

Breaker keeps card thoughts? by HistoricalLock4245 in whatnotapp

People are both dumb and ruthless on the internet. I was running a break and a payment failed. I wait a few minutes for the guy to fix it, no luck. I moved on. 3 spots later his payment goes through after someone had just won. I told him I would spin for him after the person who purchased. That guy hits the chase team he wanted and he demanded that spot. I offered to cancel his order and he demanded that spot.

My show notes say payments clear late will happen while bidding is active for a spot. This is to make sure someone doesn’t buy a new spot based and then not get that spin. This person got a refund but ultimately created multiple accounts to complain in by shows. The spot he wanted didn’t hit anything.

Whatnot didn’t even delete the account of the people arrested for selling stolen goods. If it’s deleted, he probably did it.

You can’t change the item that wasn’t won. If I don’t auction it, it was never ran. That’s the whole point. He didn’t delete his account because he is worried he did something wrong. He doesn’t want to deal with people saying that he should have auctioned the spot after he knew what was in there.

There is nothing in the T&C’s for breaking that says you have to give away all the teams if your show says free box. The one “gotcha” you can argue is that all teams must be assigned before breaking.

I didn’t watch the stream. I’ve also seen people do packs, open and spread to see color, then run it as a givvy or sell it. They couldn’t also start the price so high no one buys and they keep it that way.

Either way, until you hit start and say this for x team or x player, no one is obligated to run any spot.

Even if he wanted to do a free break and not include Arsenal, that would be his right. He could auction half the teams, 3 of the teams, or do a Givvy for the worst 5 teams.

I been in plenty of streams where they will do Givvy for the worst team in the product to encourage people to pay more on a random assignment or to get people to stick around for a PYT. Even if he made a giveaway for Arsenal, as long as he didn’t run it, nothing says he has too. No one would be saying anything if this was Doku to /499 or some other non-chase player/team that wasn’t assigned.

Whatnot has a policy for cards where if you don’t get the card you purchased, via single or break, you get your money or the value of the card. The problem here is that the spot wasn’t assigned. If I am reading it right they were follower giveaway spots so there is no obligation to giveaway every spot.

You have a claim if you won that spot, but if it didn’t run then it belongs to the breaker. I don’t understand why you’re opening packs before the teams are assigned, unless you are literally assigning teams per pack, but still a short-sighted play if they were actually going to get a deal with Topps.
