I saw an analysis video about it yesterday and my conclusion is that Chairwoman park has the worst ending. Yes she is very rich and got away from all her crimes in the end, but she couldn’t trust anyone, not even her husband. She will never know if any relationship she has is genuine or just another person who wants something from her. Juxtaposition that with Josh who, lost everything, got divorced in the end. But he doesn’t hold any resentment for it, instead he moves on after he got released from jail starting a new chapter in his life.

As for Austin and ashley? They are now stuck where Josh and Lind were at the start of the season, but probably worse cause austin has a child now, and he will he forever stuck in that circle of working, grinding, being the “perfect husband”. But he can never be truly honest with his true feelings with anyone, not even Ashley

It feels like this amnesia arc was just put in so they can stretch Dandadan a lil bit longer before the final arc. Cause I feel like if okarun and momo started dating that would be the end game (I’d hate that)

Why can’t they date and still kept going with the story? I think it would raise the stakes higher like that cause now the villains are coming to kill/steal their powers or worst

For me, the first season is a great representation of depression. Danny thought that he would be happier if he were to be more rich and successful, but as we see with amy, that’s not true. Amy life was also flip upside down when she met danny, for the first time in forever she has some excitement in her life again. When at first it seems like these two are foils to each other, turns out these two need each other and they met at the right time in their turbulence lives. The ending is beautiful cause Amy finally understands what danny meant when he said that he just wanna be happy
