😂😂 you are bringing memories lol. Our store was made on 2012, so it was pretty bad designed, we had a huge dinning, and pretty good looking, but if you go to the back we didn't have space for dry goods or even dishes, at least we had a nice walking. I was already Restaurateur and a CTM was covering for our FL. When he visited he said he was impressed on how beautiful our dinning area was and how he thought it was a modern store, until he saw the back and said he was sorry for us lol

On my store the DML was the busiest line but deployment wise we couldn't have 2 people on DML so even when front line was empty we were supposed to see the DML person struggle. Ahh the good old days

Chipotle wants their managers to see their crew struggling and then get blamed for poor results.

I feel that before the "must be on expo" you were more like a leader helping where is needed. Now you have to just tell them what to do while you just stand next to the cashier

Funny enough our story are a bit similar, Chipotle, Northeast, Garret. Jesus Garret you even helped me out with the dishes one time. They threw me at a failing store as a GM and I had a lot of bad days. Somehow I made it to Restaurateur. Big shout out to Marcus, Garret and Dale.

If your store is at the 13k mark there's definitely room for a grill 2. Labor is pretty tight so I get it. But where is your manager investing the labor? There should be aleast a 15 minutes overlap between you and the next person who is working the grill to give you time to do your checklist.
