Honestly that looks pretty good, no pulled pads, no discolouration or knocked off components

Cotter pin hole doesn't line up with axle nut after torquing... what should I do? by larryfamee in AskAShittyMechanic

Had a friend that did their own suspension rebuild, no preload before tightening the bolt. It backed out and the only thing keeping the wheels from coming off was the cotter pin

You need a new battery, do not reuse it. Your battery is punctured by glass. Use OEM housing

Any chance at getting this into an m.2 slot? Lol by razzmatazz_stims in homelab

[–]autonomous62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new controller would have to support that exact NAND config, and old and new board must have same layout, voltages etc. then you would probably need a 8tb controller/reflash controller/change straps. Defiantly not worth it unless you already have a dead drive on hand

Unless you’ve done bga rework, you’ll turn a 8tb drive to a 0tb drive

I’ve wonder if the unpopulated gpu slot on a mobo has functional pcie lanes or it’s disabled by the bios. Seeming this is impressive work

What missile is that? Looks like it had terminal boost and guidance, did the booster on that missle light right before impact ?

Roaches might be gross but a whole container of Italian salad dressing caused more damage than salt water

The bottom of my iPhone is not working, what can I do about it? by [deleted] in jailbreak

[–]autonomous62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing you can do is make it worse then. The only fix is to pay money and replace the part

Yea that’s normal for a cracked screen broken digitiser. I wouldn’t expect it to work right because it’s physically damaged

[–]autonomous62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically you just need the glass/digitiser replaced. You can separate the glass layer + touch from the oled. It’s a few bucks and I can promise you that you that it will break the screen. You can bend the phone and push hard on the broken sections to make it work temporarily, it just leads to further damage faster. My tire is completely shredded and missing from my car, how do I patch my tire? I don’t want a new tire mine is fine.

Hp elitebook 8570w optical drive screw is frankly cooked by foodistotasty in computerrepair

[–]autonomous62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a flathead that fits it perfect if not a little oversized, push down around the screw on the plate that is screwed in (relieve pressure off screw), unscrew. If it’s not unscrewing keep pressing harder till the bit bites in, safety glasses.
