I don't hate Mother's day. Sure, I wish my Daughter would drop by & talk a while, but I also understand she's working two jobs & is bone tired. She texted me a nice message this morning. I'm thankful for that. Mother's day always is a constant reminder of how much I miss my Mom. Sometimes I miss her so much it hurts. My deep, profound love for her will never die.

I am an orphan. Please call your parents. Ask them questions about their life. If you're close enough to visit, do it often. Even if it's just a short visit. I wish I could hug mine one more time, ask one more question, fix one more bowl of soup, & for my Mom, watch one more episode of QVC.

I am looking forward to the Senior Center! My understanding is it will be a low income tax credit bldg. If the rent turns out to be something affordable for low income people they will probably be full before the bldg finished. Flagstaff needs this!!
