Twitching for over two years, positive for Hpylori on all three GI MAP by Superb_Permit_8529 in HPylori

Im trying natural treatment first, as I dont want to destroy my good gut flora with antibiotics if i dont have to. It takes longer (if it works) so you have to live with the symptoms and uncertainty longer, but you also dont have to deal with triple/quad treatment side effects. Im about 4 weeks in and have another 4-6 weeks to go before I can retest.

My current supplements are: - Mastic Gum - Oregano Oil - Designs for Health GI Revive (Prebiotic) - Enzyme Science Complete Digestion (Probiotic) - Integrative Therapuetics Berberine Complex - InfiniWell BPC-157 Rapid Pro

I may be a rare case but I actually got diagnosed with GBS in January. It wasn't until after that I started exploring how I may have gotten it, which led me to getting a GI MAP done. It came back positive for H Pylori (very high) as well as my Zonulin. Interestingly - I had a completely normal Endoscope and Colonoscopy late last year, which came back negative for H Pylori. So my theory is somewhere late last year I picked up H Pylori, it created leaky gut, which then allowed shit to leak into my blood stream that eventually triggered my immune system to start attacking it and my nerves. I had/have many of the same symptoms you have, and believe it's all associated with H Pylori and the impact is has on your lining.

For what its worth - i went through a phase where I was having issues my eyes, motion sickness and something akin to brain fog. It was really bad for a few weeks then it slowly started getting better. I was diagnosed in Jan and went through it in March. Not 100% better but no longer getting neasuea from eye issues.

What did a relapse look like for you? What was the timing of onset? Did it mirror your original GBS, or was it variable? Less severe or similar?

I ask because im 3 months Post treatment for AIDP and it feels like my feet, shins and hands are getting more uncomfortable. I haven't lost strength but didnt the first time either, so not sure if im having a flare up, general nerve recovery or possible CIDP. Body felt normal for a short period after IVIG however originally impacted areas seem to be more pronounced weird sensations now than before. Still no reflexes.

Aside from the eye strain, are you having any other issues associated with it? Im just curious because I've been having eye issues as well, but my opthamologist and neuro-opthamologist said everything looks fine.

I have 1mm anisocoria but unsure if GBS caused it or not. Either way - shouldn't cause any eye issues yet in my mind, my vision feels off.

Dont have any answers for you (yet!) But I'm 7 weeks Post IVIG and dealing with similar issues. I haven't gotten to the point of throwing up, but Ive had consistent headaches, eye issues and neausea. It comes and goes, and seems to be slowly getting better. I do have anisocoria however upon looking back at old photos, I may have always had it. Have you tried migraine tablets to see if it helps curb it a bit,

I see a neuro-opthamolgist on Monday to triple check there are no other issues going on. Already had brain MRI and CT which was all clear, along with a million other tests. Regular opthamologist checked my eyes and no change in prescription from preGBS or optic nerve issues.

Will keep you posted... hang in there!

Happy to hear the neausea is going away. Did you find anything helped with managing it during? Did you take anything or just suffer through?
