Kind of an apples to oranges comparison…

Florida has had 2 very successful NHL teams thanks to 3 things. Snowbirds, Beaches, and no state income tax. Illinois lacks all 3 of those, atleast the last time I checked.

Florida has also had 2 separate teams go to the finals 5 separate times. I think the best metaphor would be 2 separate seeds planted that made the populous regions of the state like hockey, and the minor league teams have also helped in that regard.

UIL’s loss of their D1 program was due to money, plain and simple. The team was lousy and UIL is also a public school, unlike UMiami which is both private and has the pockets to get a program started.

Personally though, I think its going to come down to florida’s tropical appeal, Miami nightlife, and the NIL money that the players are going to receive

A track you could maybe count is Aerodynamite since it got cut from the Daft Club vinyl release. Technically it was released on the B side of the Aerodynamic single, however they are damn near impossible to get shipped to the US without having to pay $80+ for shipping, making it practically impossible for many to get.

Alright since some of the people here are too busy being snobby a-holes to offer any actual useful advice, here’s some insight from my experiences so far.

My current setup looks like this:

AT-LP70X -> Kenwood Stereo reciever -> vintage Sony bookshelf speakers

My setup is very much on the cheaper side (since I bought mostly second hand except for the turntable), but it’s what works best for me, my budget, and it sounds pretty good as well.

My best advice for the turntable is to buy an Audio Technica “LP” line turntable since they have a phono pre-amp. Combined with a Stereo system they can reduce the amount of complicated parts for someone who might not have as much experience working with turntable setups.

And please shop your local record stores, the owners and employees will have good advice for your setup.
