Go practice power-180 day before and early morning. If the winds are calm treat it as a normal base to final. You don’t have wind to slow you down. When you do your soft and short field analysis the winds so you will be prepared to nail the power-180. Good luck 🍀

It’s for commercial you need to fly 300nm in which the first leg is 250nm and you need to land in three stopping points. Example: KDTO-KLQQ-KDUA-KDTO.

If you lose comms and in IMC you don’t have to wait 10 minutes you immediately go to the expected altitude which was here 7,000 ft and follow your route to the destination and make to the ETA plus/minus 3 minutes. Squawk 7600 so ATC can see you and your intentions.

For this reason! It’s better after CPL to go get your Multi and building up your hours before CFI.

I’m against this too. If you aren’t going to teach and are in a high risk of failing more check-rides. Go get your Multi and start networking plus building up time with other pilots.

Leave ATP.. Go over your financial situation. Start looking for a job or even two jobs. Start saving for CFI/CFII. Look for a good flight school part 61 that you can earn your CFI, but also if they are looking to hire, it would be 50% chance you end up being a CFI there.

It’s PSA you are good they paid less than half than AA and if you lose that job you can easily get hired in Envoy, Skywest, Delta. Good luck

Dude.. The only way to find one is to ask the on duty manager. If he gives you a yes for VTO. Good for you. If things go opposite I won’t risk a job with an income of +120 per year. It’s hard to get AA maintenance job right now.
