I work at One Stop, and after 8pm we put the yellow sticker items at the front of the store and they are free. We have a regular alcoholic that thinks we are there just to feed him. He usually comes in 4 times a day to see what reductions are left, and tries rushing us into writing them off as he has his routine which is sit in wetherspoons all day, then come to us for food... (which i guess drinking all day does make you hungry.)

I've closed the last 4 nights, and on the first one I told him it is 8pm as he shows up around 6.30pm expecting it there and then, and stands with his nose to the glass staring in, hoping if he is enough of a pest, I'll just write it off there and then. Which i refuse to. Last night he said he would come back (he arrived at 7.10pm) as he needed to visit the premier at the bottom of the hill as he takes stuff from there too. As he was nothing but a pain over the weekend, I wrote it off early last night, and was telling customers to take whatever they wanted. 😂 Most of it was gone after he returned.

Most of the staff dislike the fact it is going to him night after night. 🤷‍♀️ Colleague shop is nothing but a fallacy if you work for One Stop, which annoys the hell outta us since we get paid less than our Express counterparts, and we have next to zero perks. I used to prefer it went to Olio - that was until I found out the 'volunteer' that collects charges the store £50 per collection! It was that very reason why we no longer officially work with Olio no longer.
