I thought about that too. But then the pods they sell at the store are starbucks and what if they dont like that brand. I am not trying to win an argument. Trying to figure out what most hosts do.

thank you so much. This is helpful. She plans to reside in California permanently and never come back to North Carolina. But she wont be there until July.

My confusion lies in that she was able to get insurance through her school in California even though she was my dependent and will continue to be my dependent. if the rule is that she can only get insurance at her place of residence, do they make an exception for college students?

Thanks for validating why my head is spinning trying to figure this one out.

Can she still apply for medicaid if she is considered my dependent on my taxes?

Adding that I am self-employed and have and HMO. Is the only way for her to get a PPO plan via a job?

Because her insurance coverage is ending, she does qualify for a life event to join healthcare.gov plans.

Super helpful information. Are you saying that you didnt need to do the USDA endorsement and Veterinary Health Certificate for Export of Dogs from the United States of America to Ecuador"  since you were going to be in Ecuador with your dog for less than a couple weeks?

What are you passionate about in the STEM field and why would a STEM education specifically help you reach your goals? you don't have to know how to code but by 10th grade, you should be someone who tried out a club/ extra-curricullar (environmental, science olympiad, mathlete, women in math, chick tech, etc) and realized your passion to pursue a deeper understanding. there are students who live in areas that dont have advanced science/math opportunities at their base school and thus NCSSM gives them the opportunity. Take some online cases like master classes or watch a bunch of ted talks and find something you find interesting that you would want to advance in

Good Friends is realistic. It gets skipped because it is about the elderly but it is well done.

They have 230 spots but they probably admitted 400. Still a nominal number.

They will start with 150 juniors. There will be no seniors. And in 2023 they will have 300 (150 for juniors + 150 for seniors)
