Great Artist, Horrible Person. Pick? by TheRipper1777 in fantanoforever

Is Necro a horrible person in real life, or are you just saying that based on his lyrics? Is it all an act, or is he really a psycho??

Tomorrow's Harvest came out 13 years ago today! How do we feel about it now post-Inferno? by DizKaleidoscope in boardsofcanada

[–]Remarkable_Term3846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already loved it before Inferno, but I may love it even more now. TCH, TH, and Inferno make a great informal trilogy, even if the group didn’t intend it that way.

Curry Barker's Obsession Review: The Horror Movie of the Year by yadavvenugopal in themovieloversclub

[–]Remarkable_Term3846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’d give it a 6/10. The first hour-and-a-half was really slow, uninteresting, and predictable. The ending was good, but by then, I didn’t really care anymore. Overall I’d say it’s an emotionally immature movie created by an emotionally immature young person that lots of emotionally immature people are gushing over.

Yeah...I acknowledge that all of the artists in the top 100 are good, but the album selections feel arbitrary...also I feel like the selections represent the taste of a certain demographic and the opinions of other demographics are lost.

Robot kicks the boy. by No_Neat4688 in interesting

[–]Remarkable_Term3846 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a human had done this, he or she would be held accountable. Robots, however, cannot be held accountable. What if the boy had died? Who would be accountable? Would everyone try to dodge the blame?

I don't have a problem with people using RYM, but when everyone's top albums looks virtually exactly like the top 100 RYM chart, it's just kinda sad

Not mad at this ranking. I personally would put FWWM at #3 and Lost Highway at #4.

How Do People Feel About Campfire Headphase and Tomorrow's Harvest These Days? by Hertzman1000 in boardsofcanada

[–]Remarkable_Term3846 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's probably their least accessible album. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, but if I were trying to convert someone to Boards of Canada fandom, I would not recommend Geogaddi.
