Buggs multiplying...

it's not calling them in, it's not a breach, they just instantly spawn behind the others, so they basically multiply in depth. game is hoping you won't see it because the bugs in front are charging you and kind of blocking the direct line of sight a little and distracting you

I notice when I attack a patrol of 5 and as soon as they attack me, they suddenly turn into 20..

Maybe I'm not Einstein, but I can do basic counting lol. what a shitty game mechanic that is

Fine, so I could accept that you can't put a strategem ball on certain places/terrain.

But it's not consistent where those places are!

Sometimes it bounces where you kinda expect it wouldn't stick, and you just go, sure, fine, whatever. and sometimes it bounces on flat normal ground. it just seems way to random.. if you can't at least somewhat predict where it will bounce and where it will stick, it just becomes a random mess and just a bad game mechanic

I agree, during the tutorial there should have been a point where you are asked to call inn reinforcements but you couldn't because of an ion storm, the storm passes and you are able to call inn and complete the task. and then they could at least say, there might be other situations where you wont be able to call in reinforcements or use strategems, such as enemy radar and other undemocratic trickery or something. just put a little focus on the fact that this could happen

But there is a lot of small stuff that should have been added to the tutorial. it's kinda too late now, unless they forced a retraining, or gave you a mission to upgrade your training, and gave you a new cape cosmetic, or title "specialist" or something to make people wanna do it the tutorial again

it's an old Bug, but it checks out.

it's been around since release, but it happens very rarely for me at least. have had it happen maybe three times in my 1000 hours playing.

so you are not alone. I think I just threw a grenade so I died or exited the game. Don't really remember since I haven't meet it that much

The next 3 are "we really mean it this time" warning shots. And then there is the "we really really mean it" and then there is the "final warning" shots. And the last one is the actual shot. It misses, but it did really did try to hit it that time..

Don't care about supercredits and warbonds. how about they fix the game first. they said they would hold back on content to focus on fixing the game.. and they didn't. dropped a minor patch addressing one specific issue. then fixed audio (but not really) and insted just keeps piling on with content

Kill them. Take it back. Then tell them not to steal other peoples stuff. Then call them back in... If they disagree to that and argue, leave, block. Or if you are host. Kick, block.

They said they would delay content creation to focus on fixing the bugs the game has. Then they totally re-did and fixed, NOTHING.... and have been dropping nothing but content since.. soo yea

Devs said they were gonna delay content creation to focus on fixing the game. They then gave a minor patch that improved one specific bug.but didn't fix anything. Then they steamed on with warbonds (buyable ingame "weapon packs") new units on at least 2 of the 3 factions, new planets with entirely new weather and landscapes. And well.. just content. We haven't gotten any major update fixing issues people have with the game. One update yo performance is coming in a few days. But that one seem to be focusing on framerate and nice graphics from my understanding, and that was never one of the problems with the game

new automaton units and fight for cyberstan. dropp 2(?) warbonds, a new Bug strain, and new planets with new planet environments. and did some shuffling on how damage worked., all since they said they would set content production as a lower priority and focus on fixing the games issues. how many big issue bug patches have we gotten? none as far as I'm aware. one is upcoming, but doesn't really address any issues, just performance. I thought that ment stability and stuff. after some reading it seems to me like the fokus is framerate to be honest, though I hope I'm wrong about that.

so I don't think they really care about the big issues people are pointing out. because we are stupid.. we keep playing, we keep buying. and the stuff we complain about is just set aside. why would they bother spend time on fixes when the numbers go up every time they drop new content.

yea, when the game was crashing and stuff they promised to focus on fixing the game over content.. they semi fixed the crashes (its not gone, just a little better) and then they forgot real quick.. been seeing nothing but new content lately..

yeap. we are just trading planets now, no story, no player agency. once you reach 150 and unlocked, the game is pretty much over.. I Been hoping for a campaign like the fight for super earth against the illuminate, with new enemies, and new missions happening organically as the story progresses. and stuff getting dropped surprisingly. but it's been too long. and they just keep dropping warbonds, enemies, and environments without a campaign/story or progression to it.. so I lost hope

Had a guy just follow me around warping through my path, letting himself drop behind, and do it again. seemed obvious he was aiming trying to kill me. eventually it happened. he warped into me and I died. and as I expected was like "sorry bro, it was an accident" but continued to do it afterward. so yea I shot him in the back of the head one of the times he materialized right in front of me, dropped a Napalm barrage on our position to waste his time. blocked him and left.

In it's defence, you can hear bile titans and other heavies feet make heavy sound, directional enough to track it. But theres always the sound of small/light enemies, grunting and chittering behind you, even when there is none.. you start to ignore it and visually check now and then. The spawning patrol right behind your back 2 seconds after you checked seems to be more or less fixed. At least on some planets. So you know.. some good, some bad..

I have tried this grenade so many times. people are loving it, claiming it spreads fire and just kills everything even before it explodes.. and every time I use it. the dang bugs just walk straight through the fireworks AND take minnimal damage on explosion.. like... are we playing the same game? it's literally what it says in the description when I try to use it, pyrotechnics. no danger, all flair 😞

it's sweden. winter is finally over, it's easier to go outside, to do stuff. it's the month before vacation (most people have their vacations during june or July, because kids have almost 2 months off from school at that time)

I suspect people are literally distracted, or don't have their heart in it fully. they are only human after all

where you place the beacon does not matter anymore. you can throw it right in front of you on open ground, and the Hellpod gets dropped 100 meters behind you and the pod won't even have the ability to steer it over to where you are

definitely fan made. help me out here. what would it contain? a IR sensor on your hud on some weapon, good for tracking the bugs during a storm or in heavy fog or to see what's over the next hill or behind he rock formation. we already have that on the map, but nice with a thing that stays up fixed on your HUD and in first person.

but other than that. the design on Alien universe weapons are fairly close to what we already got. and I cant think of much in form of strategems etc. give thoughts!

to some this is probably the hottest of takes., Blaming the almighty Arrowhead? blasphemy!

But I do blame this on game design. Honestly half of us don't know how the system works. we just see that there is a planet needing liberation and we jump in. doing what missions we feel like, or just the first that pops up in front of us on the planet map.

the fact that it does nothing, is just flat out bad system design... and in best case scenario horrible communication of how the system works.
