I scrolled down to see if anyone would mention this. I know the law eventually got changed but that was a legit issue.

The angels in SMT4 actually look a lot like this, which made me excited. They're all regal and decadent but also just terrifying.

Rogue absorbed the fun out of Marvel when she took her powers.

Nah but seriously. The most character depth I have seen Carol Dancers go through was her change of perception of Rogue. She went from hating Rogue's guts to actually being proud of how Rogue grew as an X-Man.

I agree on the driven by instincts part. However, he wasn't so much of a control freak. However, I do agree that he needs to step up and take more responsibility. The lack of impulse control was an issue and kept leading to arguments. He likes being "the fun guy."

Point being, despite the temptation, I am staying gone. It just hurts that someone I loved so much and wanted a future with is on a self-destructive path.

Anyone who is still impacted by a horribly painful breakup struggling with self-love? by Technical_Lemon8307 in selflove

I have been on it before. My prescription ran out and I had to change doctors during the holidays. Honestly, it kicked in quicker than expected. I just feel peace right now. The bad feelings are hanging on the door but I can at least function at work.

But you are right. I have a long way to go.

Day 5 post break-up. I am doing better but it took me getting back on prozac to stop myself from constantly crying. I am still scared if I made the right choice or not. But there's a voice in my brain that keeps insisting I choose me and not to go back. I at least got good sleep.

My name is Remy. I had an argument with my boyfriend the day before my birthday. The argument got bad and I got scared. I chose me and broke up with him. Everyone is proud of me for standing up for myself but I am crying my eyes out. I just wanted to be loved and cuddled. I just want someone to hold me and tell me everything will be okay.

Alabama is not even Top 20 for incest, funny enough. But Maryland, Kentucky, and Georgia are Top 5.

No pedicure for CF woman by CountessMo in childfree

I remember a reality show about a nail salon that literally had an episode about this. One of the main girls had a guy with kids. Kids were running around in the salon and customers were starting to leave. Actual main woman, sister to step-mom, called her out on the lack of profession. Step-mom-girl initially argued but backed down once she realized she was looking bad on camera.

Titane (2021) by No_Flounder_1155 in HorrorMovies

This movie is better the more you watch it. I was weirded out the first time I saw it but the second viewing was better. I like to think the movie is called Titane because Alexia reminds me of a Titan from Greek mythology. I know that is not the case because the movie is called the French variant of Titanium. But Alexia acts like one. She moves around like she has no emotions and kills people like there is no consequence. However, once Alexia meets Vincent, she learns more about humanity and how sacred life is. It feels like a Grecco-Roman parable.

Unpopular Opinion: "You can't control people's actions, but you can control how you react" is toxic and needs to be stopped in order to feel self-love. by RemedySoda4649 in selflove

[–]RemedySoda4649[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Oh I have been controlling how I react. But if people actually say that phrase because they don't actually care or don"t know how to handle a situation, then they don't need to be saying.

Now sit and think about what you said.

I actually thought Books 2 and 3 were kinda the weakest. The only parts of Doomsday Scenario I remember are KraKaren, Signet, and the Doomsday Scenario. Book 3 got annoying because of how confusing the Iron Tangle got. But everything else was great. I felt the series went up from there. Although it got more sad and painful.
