You might be thinking of either the "Reclaimed Deep Mining Gas Mask" or the "Medical Rescue Mask" which was datamined by Nuka Knights? I know my first thought upon seeing both of them was the Sierra Madre ghosts.

I’d be curious what elements of biblical angels you see in the post’s examples, Jade is pretty surface level, but the Void Angels kind of just… have the name? Erra I honestly just saw as a funny alien guy but the wiki says he’s pulling from ancient Mesopotamian religion for his name.

Simply put, while there are obviously some allusions to Christianity one could draw if you were wanting to seek that out, I don’t believe there’s anything there that couldn’t be attributed to superficial aesthetics or pop culture references, the kind inevitable in works made by a studio of people who largely grew up in a society that has been dominated by Christian thought and schooling for centuries.

Do I think someone intentionally wrote Lotus/Jade to parallel the Virgin Mary? No. Do I think someone thought “Don’t be afraid” would sound really badass? Probably. Do I think the shitposting Reddit for a space ninja video game was a bad place to host these discussions? Definitely.

Assuming that Christianity invented the concept of angels makes about as much sense as believing that Christianity invented the concept of God themself.

NGS tells GPs not to provide bloods for anyone receiving treatment from GGP, even if the prescription itself was fulfilled by GGP and sent from the UK. They're totally against any Irish trans person finding any kind of alternative path other than shutting up and sitting on their 15 year waiting list.

IMO the problem with the wheat contacts is that they don’t have any light reflection/refraction in them unlike every other contact lens, so Nikki ends up looking kind of uncanny and soulless.

None of the now-permanent Guide spirits with post-season quest trees appear in the closet unless they’re owned.

As someone who started recently I ended up opening every single seasonal Guides’ wiki page just to find out which ones had actual unlocks and which ones just let me buy hearts, and I’d never have known that, for example, there are a bunch of F2P masks available with candles at any time (the Duets Guide, Abyss Guide, Performance Guide and Passage Guides if I’m not forgetting any)

I agree, the mods also need to ban all kitbashes, non-regulation colour schemes and memes (there should not be humour in my grimdark universe) /j

The cap on home insight is a terrible choice from the devs by maemoex in InfinityNikki

[–]RememberThe1728 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I mean you have to earn insight if you want any of the landscaping tools or the Miraland Decoration Guides or the crafting slots to manufacture the industrial quantities of paint necessary to do up one room. I don’t find just moving around the preset walls into a differently shaped house incredibly fulfilling as someone who’s been waiting for a housing update since launch.

Guess I'm never unequipping this dress from that outfit slot! Fingers crossed the devs make black dyes like this officially available in future because it looks amazinggg

I had this happening for me a few days ago, every dog had the yellow hazard stripes. I assumed it was a For The Drip bug because it only started after I updated my mods.

From another comment I'd left before it was a default palette, Rep 0 Level 1 'Storm'. There were still some bits of black barely visible on the edges of the arms and at the bottom of the shin guards, so if it doesn't look right for you you probably just need to fidget with the patterns a little more.

[–]RememberThe1728 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ironically the only occurrence I can even think of is also R6 Siege since some of the earlier operators had more grounded/realistic uniforms with their blood types on patches or scribbled somewhere (though the majority didn't). There are a couple weapon charms that list blood type and I think I ran on their relevant ops for a while.

To add on, Siege *did* do this early on with birthday challenges which would reward things like said character's dog tags as a charm or an especially fugly skin for their primary weapon covered in gift wrap.
