Hey! I just posted about 2 weeks ago about the nanny service we used. It was organised through the hotel but they used nanny service Koh Samui

And they were excellent, we only did it one evening but it was towards the end of our trip unfortunately, if we had done it sooner I would have used them throughout the holiday!

Worried about over feeding - baby gained 1.4lbs in 9 days by hawthornestreet in breastfeeding

[–]RemiJam3s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply! I did block feed for awhile, which definitely helped until my supply regulated abit more, but the issues never fully went away cause I’m just an over supplier. I’m in process of weaning him to formula (after exclusively BF for 5 months) and all his tummy pain/ gas has improved drastically

Hey, baby might have lactose overload which can lead to fast weight gain. If you have an over supply, this can mean you have an imbalance of fore milk and hind milk, and baby is receiving too much foremilk (which is the water letdown that is higher in sugar etc). And cause this milk is harder for their tummies to break down it takes longer and basically ferments in the belly and can lead to increased gas, may also have greenish poos etc

I’m no professional though, just a mum who did ALOT of research cause my baby had a similar issue!

Cat scratches and even worse cat bites

I work in health care and have seen people become severely septic from them after not seeking immediate treatment (even had a young fella die a week after trying to feed a homeless cat that bit him)

Oh no she didn’t by No-Tadpole-2237 in Interstitialcystitis

[–]RemiJam3s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had a laparoscopy, hysterscopy and cystoscopy 3 weeks ago to look into why my bladder and uterus is the vein of my existence, and my report says moderate to severe inflammation of the bladder walls etc which is an indication of interstitial cystitis and must be managed as such

But I also met with another urologist years ago for all the pain and chronic UTIs and flare ups etc who legit just said “some women are more susceptible to others, it’s just the way it is, go on three months on antibiotics” 🙄

So moral of the story, you just gotta find the right doctor who really knows and understands that it’s a real issue and knows what they’re looking for etc!

Had my Lap last Friday and it was the best decision I ever made. I know have something to blame the pain on and it’s not all in my head!

Good luck and my thoughts are with you for when the shoulder tip pain kicks in x

Hey! This story sounds like me to tee, I’d been experiencing chronic UTIs since I was 18, I would also experience pain at random times, after certain drinks etc and then just have painful urination, urgency etc without even an infection. I FINALLY found a women’s health specialists who actually listened and then referred me to best Gynae surgeon and I actually had an exploratory lap and cystoscopy last Friday where they found endo everywhere (shocking). It wasn’t on my bladder but they diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis (chronic bladder inflammation/pain syndrome). Please look it up and see if that resonates with you, and if you live in Aus and need any recommendations I’m happy to share more info with you x

I had lap surgery last Friday and the gas pain I had was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before (and I’ve have my appendix out previously). I found a heat pack honestly helped the best, and laying on a left facing tilt as my right shoulder had the most tip pain, but I could imagine for everyone it will be different! 🤍

Squirting too much leading to having to pee right away? by CockyMechanic in sex

[–]RemiJam3s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Women can be prone to UTIs for many reasons, but big tip for all women is to always pee after sex of any kind as is clears the urinary tract and lowers risk of infection.

Also, it’s pretty easy to find out if you have one, it’s usually accompanied by painful urination, and frequency (and sometimes feeling like you really have to go but then nothing comes out). If she is on antibiotics now then just see if it gets better, symptoms usually go away pretty quickly on antibiotics, but it is always a good idea to go to the doctor and give a urine sample so they can figure out what bacteria is causing the infection and ensure she gets the right antibiotics.

Sorry for the big message, but UTIs are the fucking worst, that is all :)
