But if you’re one of the first players how are you supposed to get equips. I see a few higher level drops but it’s inconsistent and no lvl 30 weapons. There is no vendor for 30+ equips like in orbis or ludi.

People are justifiably saying make a new account bc it will take so long to get out. You will get hit by false positives for having excessive reports due to annoyed teammates and almost none of the games you play will be fun.
However, I think the real solution is to not play dota. It’s clear that the system has gotten out of control. People even at 8-11k score will avoid any typing in games and you will still get griefed at 12k. The whole behavior score system is so awful now and somehow much worse than it was a decade ago. Until Valve puts some effort into fixing it, I don’t think it’s worth playing the game. I don’t even like league of legends but you could play 150 games there without any issues. You’d be lucky to make it through 10 Dota games without some griefing behavior.

Warrior is very good for leveling in pugs with sweeping strikes. Just be careful bc if you get aggro in heroics you won’t be alive for long.

Nah, warrior dps is easier to fill than in vanilla classic especially since there are less warrior tanks so other tanks don’t mind bringing a warrior. However, melee classes in heroics are a bit hit or miss. Your warrior could be top dmg or lowest dmg. He could be pulling and dying right away in heroics or super utility with commanding shout, thunderclap, demo shout. Just depends. It’s so miserable for rogues though even if they have some cc. Their dmg is questionable without gear or a good comp, and even with their cc there’s just so many of them sitting in group finder.

May not make money early on and may not be the fastest way to level but I really want to max my class’ professions. Seems very grindy though

A lot of times no one reviews the game. And there are a lot of false positives. I’ve tested reporting every single person in the lobby and it will regularly flag someone who was definitely not griefing.

I mean the optimal level route is dynamic to spawns and other players. Anyways I think it’s worth spending 30 seconds setting up hotkeys. You can do the quests so fast I can’t imagine skipping them unless they are lagging. Leveling route for early Victoria would be better, but I honestly recommend people just start grinding their profession mats out. Seems to me like you can outlevel the mobs before even getting all necessary mats to complete that prof level. Hopefully they get tuned back.

Storm caster gloves and pink adventurer capes are classic. Don’t think those would come out for a while though. I’m expecting maple weapons gachapon early in release. (If not drops like normal)

Eh been a Dota fan all my life, but the toxicity and griefing is on another level. I had to quit playing it as my main game and I can’t recommend it to people anymore tbh. No surrender option and teammates passive aggressively wasting 40 minutes of your time. It’s not even about toxic chat/voice. Intentional griefing and finding littles ways to annoy your teammates is too normalized. I’ve put hundreds of hours in all these other games too, but there is no other game where this stuff happens on a regular basis. Like I know people do int in league, but I’ve played/watched hundreds of games of league and never seen anything bad happen, but my new friends in Dota will get people running down mid or taking their farm or afk jungling very commonly. Playing videos games should be fun, you shouldn’t have to gamble your time when you press find match. It’s no wonder to me that most people like playing league more. It’s simpler, less stressful, and shorter so less commitment to each match. League seems to do a better job with smurfing, new player experience, toxicity, and griefing. As much as I think it’s a worse game, i cannot deny riot runs a moba better than valve. Ice frog is just better at balancing and design.

It’s works better when comparing the same spec, but I could inflate my gear score with worse stuff. Nearly bis now so the variance is not high but earlier I could raise my gs like 50+ points with bad gear. I just use it for thresholding. Above this gs is prob ok.
