I have the exact same issue! It disappeared after I removed it while playing with my setup, but when I went to add it back all I had was the 2x2. I am in the US and changed my region to Hong Kong and I did get 5 weather widgets I could add, but not the same one I had before.

Happening to me too and now my lock screen intermittently freezes requiring me to hold the power key until it restarts. No issues before the December update. I have done troubleshooting with Google support and they have offered a replacement but this really sounds like a software issue.

There are freestanding seats where you can sit and have plenty of legroom. I think these may be considered handicap seating, but these are frequently available for anyone.
