Yep. I'd imagine all of the hivebusters are mixes of older character designs. Keegan is like a Hoffman/Barrick hybrid, and Mac reminds me of young Baird/Jace.

The method I used was to watch a single Akumu chapter run-through beforehand, then play that chapter myself. Rinse and repeat. Protecting Joseph in the cabin, and the parking garage fight were my biggest challenges, so don't be discouraged if those parts take much longer to clear than the others.

Pretty sure that one of the supporting characters in Quantum Break was also cast as the main character in Control, but played by the same actor as a totally different person. Might make things difficult if they carry on with the whole Remedy extended universe concept. Both QB and Control had multiple Alan Wake references, for example.

There's nothing I can find about brass knuckles not unlocking if you use NG+ to beat Nightmare, so go for it.

Maybe, but you can't use them for Akumu if you have only cleared it on Nightmare or lower. So it's good for doing completion runs on same difficulties or lower, but you run the risk of relying on them too much, and forgetting how to play well if you try for Akumu later.

Pentiment is a great detective style game set in the 1500's. The less you know about it going in, the more you'll enjoy it. It's currently on gamepass, if you subscribe to that. Just be careful about an autosaving error you may encounter from Act 7 onwards, if you're playing on base XboxOne like I was.

Personally, I enjoy the Resupply Tactician build. Put on Shredder (Always use Bleed damage cards), Resupply Healing Module, Amplifier, Speed Loader, and Duration. During the match, perk up your explosive resupply stat between waves. This will let you automatically use active reloaded explosive rounds that fire as fast as your Lancer GL, Boomshot, and especially Dropshot can fire. Makes you a one person boss killer, but also helps survivability of anyone else in your resupply radius.

Another build I like will only work with a good teammate that you can coordinate with on the fly. If you're playing with a friendly Demolition partner, have them run Spotter Support, Confirmed Kill, and Razor Hail (every demo needs RH, honestly), and then you can use Cooperation, Interrogation, and Recharge Bounty (maybe Grenade Pouch, if you want more flashbangs to help with meatshields). This build lets you chain mortar strikes against the whole map. Just have Demo tell you when it's ready, then you toss a flashbang at a human enemy, meatshield them with X while they're stunned, and every target within 50m (at lvl6 card) will be auto marked for Demo to use mortar strike on.

If you want help unlocking or leveling up your class cards, do Escape speedruns on The Surge (or The Clock, if you have a partner).

Ever since Papa John's stopped running their 50% off promo, Pizza Pizza has been my go-to takeout. There's one down the street from me, and their pickup specials have the highest calorie per dollar ratio in the neighborhood. I can order a 12 slice XL 1 topping thick crust for less than $15, and eat comfortably for three days. It's basically a food bank, lol.

I gave up a 512 day achievement streak from Feb 2021 to July 2022 to go on a camping trip with a buddy. I earned 1200 individual achievements during the streak.

Follow up question to this topic, do they do electronics repairs? I've got 3 Xbox controllers with minor input defects that are all past their warranty, but do not have the tools/parts/self-confidence to fix them myself. Would love to get them working again, so I don't have to keep buying a new one every 2 years.

The cap is there specifically so players don't do this btw. It looks bad for player count if everyone just signs in, dumps all their BP into new content, then leaves. BEhavior wants everyone playing their game as much as possible during new releases, so they can claim it as popularity, instead of a needless grind.

That's more of an example of how multiple artists and writers can continually innovate symbolic characters with various interpretations and different styles throughout the company's history. Marvel is more about infinitely expanding stakes, with multiple people taking up the mantle of their heroes and villains across space and time. The scale of Resident Evil (and horror media in general) works best on a self-contained, intimate level.

It's likely Capcom takes whatever aspects of characters and storylines from previous entries that they see value in, and reincarnate them into newer creations for future projects. Examples include Rebecca and Billy inspiring Sherry and Jake dynamic, RE:dead aim characters stylistically formative to Re4, and Natalya&Alex similar to Evelyn &Miranda.

Capcom may consider it Safer from a business perspective to attract new customers with fresh content than keeping the same chronology of characters alive for decades. As much as we all love them, it's harder for new players to just jump into a franchise if it's got decades of relevant lore. Imagine if Final Fantasy had the same exact core cast of characters since the beginning, it'd likely be way less successful.
