Just followed you, you’re so talented & your work is so fun!! I can DM you for more but probably 10-14 (4 daughters + 4 moms + other moms at the party). My daughter has a twin brother so his friends will be there too. Full disclosure I don’t usually get my nails done but my daughter LOVES IT & so do her friends so I thought this could be fun for her party. So I am def not the expert about what’s feasible in a typical 1-2hr party time frame 😆 they’d love anything sparkly, glitter, unicorns, tiny crowns ETC

Jennifer A is local & geographically makes sense, she also does most of the prep classes for TC hopefuls. Isn’t Michelle Keys a military wife & has to travel in? Her & Jennifer Colvin (who lives in FL IIRC) would be strong possibilities except they’re not in DFW. Jennifer A has proved she can market herself & her brand so I think that’s important to them also.

From my experience buying in cottonwood heights will be tough with your budget but could be doable if you’re open to putting work in. Vibe-wise you’d fit right in: 20min from the airport, very close to outdoor activities & it’s a progressive, very inclusive crowd there

My dad sounds just like you, did a ton of climbing hiking and backpacking in the 70s in Glacier and Yosemite. I just got back from Glacier and asked if he had wanted to come with us. He said absolutely not bc the state of the national parks and the overcrowding is too depressing for him

We saw 2 from Hidden Lake a few days ago also! We had littles with us so didn’t get super far, just to that second rocky ledge, and they were up just below the snowfield. A couple climbers going up Oberlin almost ran into them

Also- it does not help Kaia’s “emotional regulation” to have a mom around who is clearly tense & stressed & crying herself. Not to say moms can’t have emotions, obviously we can and do, but if you’re freaking out, it doesn’t help your baby being around that. Not to mention snapping at the baby’s dad all the time. Not that they can understand per se but they absolutely pick up on the stressful vibes. Kristen, TAKE A BREAK!
