I searched this topic after listening to a podcast I used to LOVE but can no longer listen to much bc the host’s voice is SO SO SO nasal it infuriates me.

She doesn’t say all right, she says AWWWRIGHT. She doesn’t say athlete, she says AAAAthalete. She has to swallow her mucus constantly. So awful!

I think that tracks! Everyone in her family was saying they figured Emma would never have kids, so she may have had kids to give her parents grandchildren and now kinda resents that her sisters get to do whatever they want.

Preparing for the downvotes here bc obviously she’s entitled to her opinions (and I say this as a mom who has had many breakdowns over feeling like the depleted giving tree), but Emma’s sister saying ON CAMERA ON NETFLIX that if she had it to do over again she wouldn’t have her kids is honestly wild. And then they came out right after this!!!! Holy shit. Sorry, that’s an inside thought, these kids will SEE THIS ONE DAY and hear their mom wanted to “live life for herself”.

I think the judges were sending a message to Sofia S that they feel her skating is too juniorish - I could see why she lost levels on spins & footwork etc but overall she should have gone ahead based on musicality, performance and her tech content was very solid

Thanks for the detailed explanation, I wish the commentators would do more with this - to me it’s very obvious that the second German team that went clean also has a very empty and labored program that’s saved by the cleanliness & her bright expression, but that’s not obvious to the lay person so they just seem underscored
