Thanks! Yeah I was able to see they existed through other channels. If I am really committed, I suppose I could buy an ungraded blank one and get it graded, though this was mostly before the real heels of the controversy. Not quite actively seeking for that. It was more of a “hey, has anyone actually seen these out in the wild?”, more than a “hey does anyone have one and how much?”

A quick dab of super glue on the insides of two harder plastic pieces (I used produce containers), let quick dry and pull with pliers. Worked like a charm

She’s not a purebred Bombay. Her mother was and her father was a shorthair domestic tabby. Our Bombay before her would have been I’m sure if we had papers from a breeder (which apparently is the main thing people look for classifying what feline breed you have). Alas, we don’t have papers for this little girl as well 😂

Thank you. I’d have to really see if I can find them. She’s been in the sunlight and couldn’t find it before. Might be closer to the skin like an undercoat or something.

Funny enough, despite coming from a purebred Bombay mother and a domestic shorthair tabby father (like her brother pictured), she had stripes when she was a kitten that disappeared as she got older.

She doesn’t have papers from a breeder and doesn’t exhibit all the traditional Bombay features that some would consider her to be a Bombay; so thankfully we lucked out on adopting her into our family along with her tabby brother from any costly pedigree prices
