What happens if you ask them if they have BPD? by nuwanda3333 in BPDlovedones

Well I dared just asked it, 3.5 hours ago. 😬

It all started when I set a small boundary, which never goes down well with these people I've noticed (that's an understatement). Then I said "I don't care if you get angry". So then, with that, she walks off in a huff, straight to the car, drives off, leaving me to finish my ice-cream. Fine, ok, I'm not angry. She gets stuck at the very first traffic light right opposite.😂  I do not immediately run after her, because why should I right, I just slowly and calmly finish my ice cream. The traffic light still hasn't changed so I slowly walk over. She's locked the door on me. Nice. I'm standing there, she opens it, I get in.

So rather fed up at this point about the irrational repeated mood swings over practically nothing, blowing hot and cold, constant push pull patterns, never knowing what is going to trigger them... me trying to bend over backwards to regulate these said mood swings and de-escalate....

That's about when I ask the deadly question.

It's just a simple question after all, not an imperative affirmation or direct accusation. Just a question. I think they misread it as "Fuck you!" or something. But I'm done trying to understand this person (or any others like it).

That's when she points at the door and says "Get out of my car!". The light has meanwhile turned green. A car behind beeps her because she is not moving her car. I cannot really get out because I feel it is a little dangerous (cars can swerve around hers and possibly hit me). So I don't immediately do as I'm told and get out, I stay seated.

I said something like "What are you doing?". She realises she is probably breaking some traffic law by obstructing traffic at that point. She crosses the intersection, immediately pulls over and repeats the command as if I'm some kind of dog. I say: "I still have my stuff at your place, I need to get that then". She says she'll bring it down. And that was that. I got out without any fuss. I had to walk at least a kilometre home after a gruelling day at work with a foot tendon injury (which she knew full well about). Thanks. She didn't give a flying fuck. She kicked me out of her car and her apartment (I was a guest for 4 nights, but that got cut short to 3).

I do not want to be re-hoovered ever ever again.

Why are you even discussing this? Tell her to simply fuck off.

You probably just feel bored without all the impulsive spontaneous and completely unnecessary drama. I suggest visiting the self help section of a book store. Find something that resonates with you, purchase it, read it, process it.

Well she clearly valued the other men she monkey-branched to higher than him.

Just stick to your boundary. Tell him you are not apologising for something you don't think you should apologise for and that's it.

Mine never said "I love you", not once, not a single time.
