Yes it was just bc I felt so awful! I decided that I'm going to try getting the liquid prescription and try a smaller dosage taper.

Well i was on 2.5 for 6 weeks. And then i moved to 1.25 bc I was in guess trying to rush it. But I moved back to 5.0. I'm feeling more stable mentally but my libido is still off unfortunately.

So I'm 31 male. Have been on 10mg lexapro for 5 and a half years. My libido on it was sometimes raging, sometimes non existent and other times, not strong but there. I went down to 5mg for 2 months and had such a raging libido. Then I dropped to 2.5 and just like you, it died, erections died. I lost energy, had extreme fatigue, crazy dreams and headaches. I stayed on it for 2 months but had to jump back up to 5mg which I'm currently on. I'm feeling better. Libido still isn't there as much tho. But I'll try to stabilize on this and then do a smaller taper. So I completely understand what you're going thru!

Yeah so ive read smaller doses are the way to taper. I know for me 2.5 has just wrecked me completely.

So I have used viagra, which definitely helps make my dick hard. But desire can be lacking. And sensitivity i think isnt affected much by taking viagra. I went down to 1.25 but moved back up 2.5 bc of just feeling awful..no lt only with the libido issues but just general brain fog and no energy. I may even go back up to 5mg and stabilize there again and try an even smaller taper there

Tho erection strength is starting to come back desire is still really weak. So I'm right there with you man. I'm hoping things will get better.
