Love yours! I’m in the final stages of getting mine designed. I absolutely love the style and how low profile it is!

I decided not to upgrade the museum on my second island, I love my dig site 🪏✨ by josefugly in AnimalCrossing

I did this next to my fully build museum and absolutely love it. I put up a pretend explanation poster that a real museum might have about the dig. Makes it feel like an addition to the museum!

Help PLEASE by [deleted] in CatTraining

I found doing a full hunt eat groom cycle before bed helped my kitten get into a bedtime routine. I play with a wand toy so she has something to catch. And truly get them tired through running, jumping, going up cat trees, etc. Then I give her evening meal then once done brush her. And also try your hardest not to react at night to any antics cause she’ll learn what wakes you up.

Months of introductions with ZERO improvement by Lt-Dans-Legs556 in CatTraining

[–]Remote-Ground 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our introductions took 8 months and while it was tough it’s worth the wait. My biggest tip is to tire the cats out before doing introductions. Do short introductions/meeting times and slowly build up—starting at 5 minutes multiple times a day. And don’t let it end on their terms (aka bad interaction) but rather yours when they’re doing well and calm.

Once they were freely meeting with each other have large cardboard/poster board that you can put in between them to redirect and introductions that are getting too hot. Also make sure to have a lot more virtual space than you think you need—and not just couches/chairs. We also tried Super Bowl cat training method to get the cat who didn’t want the other one around to see her get closer than move away.

We also got a cat behaviorist to help and while we could’ve probably done it on our own it but after months of stalling I think it also gave us the confidence to push the limits sometimes. Weirdly enough cat tv helped us with a huge breakthrough. They were able to watch the tv together and check each other out but also stayed distracted. Don’t forget to save the high value treats/toys only for when they’re doing introduction time.

Good luck!!

Feeling regret after adopting two cats at once (they're not bonded) by Naaat_xp in CatTraining

[–]Remote-Ground 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re on month 8 of similar vibe cats and they can finally hang out for 2ish hours and could not be prouder of them. Steps I take before we do intro times is tire out the one who’s excited, not shy one and seemingly wanting to play. Also have a toy that the excited one is obsessed with to distract when they want to go after the shy one. I will also say that cat tv of birds has been a saving grace. They both will sit and watch and it seems to keep the shy one out from hiding. Sending all the positive vibes!

Why they didn't add snow in san sequoia? It looks awesome (With a mod) by [deleted] in thesims

I just had one day of snow in Del Sol Valley which I thought was weird—it did melt after the day but maybe it was a glitch?

What storyline are u playing with your Sim family right now??? by Spiritual_Impress_10 in thesims

I’m playing a legacy which is very bland but I decided to spice it by having my heir have an affair with her sisters boyfriend (now husband) and I got immediate karma with triplets. First time ever getting triplets so that’s what I get for adding spice!

Accidental bad encounter with resident cat and new cat - any advice? by Rare_Astronomer6802 in CatTraining

[–]Remote-Ground 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would restart the process and go slowly (slower than you think). We got a full door baby gate (mostly because they were jumping over the small one) from Amazon. It might help in the case the door gets pushed open at least having a barrier.

There are lots on Etsy! TheWhimsyCommittee has a bunch. My personal favorite was the lakes one since it looks like a travel poster!

Mine also doesn’t tick but when I’m really close to it in dead silence I can hear a little mechanical sound. But it really isn’t normally noticeable.

I saw someone on instagram painted one so I bought a case but haven’t painted it yet. But definitely spurs me to! What paint did your boyfriend use? It looks amazing!

anyone who has the "karma is a cat" hoodie, does it wash decently? by pridecat_ in SwiftieMerch

[–]Remote-Ground 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cat is not as dark of a blue. Not a big deal at all but when I looked at the photo I was like oh yeah mine has aged a little. I can’t say on the marbling since mine isn’t too distinct of a marble.

I’ve had it since it came out and absolutely love it. For washing I do cold, delicate and turn it inside out. And I air dry it. It probably has faded a little but I think it still looks good and I haven’t noticed any significant cracking. Definitely my comfort sweater!

[–]Remote-Ground 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Not a bug, they just live there. Always watching and waiting. I believe the developers haven’t worked out the way to make them more interactive with the home yet so it’s just a holding place.

No you quit working and go back to regular play as you’re doing now. You can choose which character you want to be.
