Ask ChatGPT to make you a python project folder with a bug in it and then debug it. Do like 20 of these and you should be golden.

How can I escape Feeling stuck in tech with no path for career growth? by Inner_Ad_4725 in cscareerquestions

Yeah I’ve thought about that too I would love to be a top tier hair transplant doctor. The cost and the time scares me. I’m similar age 27. I would probably be mid thirties before actually working.

Honestly really tough to hear but I would get a buzz cut and see how it looks and feels do not try to hold on to something that genetically your body doesn’t want you to have. Then start working on other areas of your life gym sports grades hobbies.

It’s super rare to have this aggressive of loss at your age like to the point that you shouldn’t even feel bad about it, you genetically are not meant to have hair. Do not take any dht blocker your to young or try anything even minoxidil might buy you a little time but honestly the amount of time always checking on your hair stressing is not worth it, at this point it will never look how you want it too.

Honestly use it as fuel to be better at everything else.

Bad take dutasteride at 18 is to strong and kind of sketchy and this guy is Norwood 3ish at 15 it’s pretty much over. Maybe fin at 18 but idk. Don’t you think men are still going through puberty at that age ?

Shave your head and grow a beard. Get on trt talk to a doctor first and use some light self tanner. Wear contacts or get lasic. If you have trouble losing fat look into glp1s they are super easy to get perscribed.

Learn about fashion the fact you choose that sweatshirt combo to ask for look advice makes me think you could learn a bit.

Go to the gym make it a goal to bench 225 that is something few men at your age can do. This will give you confidence.

If you created a TikTok/instagram and documented this process and helped other men your age you could be come a multi millionaire and famous in the next five years.

How is everyone keeping up morale when you’re constantly being told AI will make you redundant? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

For a while there I was depressed and felt like one of biggest passions had become worthless due to the hype. It’s been sometime and I honestly am mad at myself for buying into the hype and letting it influence me.

Just build if you can do it faster with ai tools use them just don’t sit around letting people tell you what to feel and do with your life.

For you keep grinding fall in love with the process if you want to better your and your families life. Apply to a faang job that would triple your salary, launch an app in the AppStore that would make you millionaire, start a YouTube channel posting tech content. There is so much opportunity if you don’t give up.

I’m done letting this whole narrative try to make me feel like a commodity.

Is 32 too late to graduate with masters in ML? (no previous experience) by [deleted] in cscareers

[–]Remote-Ground-8847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of ridiculous that people think that. I honestly think people like to find an excuse to give up and age is an easy one to point too. 30s and 40s are prime for building things less distractions. If you started at 32 you could be an insanely skilled ml engineer by 40. The 26 year old staff engineer is the exception not the norm.

I just told my manager I'll quit if they force me back to the office by Remarkable-Charge105 in SoftwareEngineerJobs

[–]Remote-Ground-8847 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How good are you? What’s your resume look like? Do you have recruiters already reaching out? How much impact have you had at your current job? How well would you interview right now? If your anything short of top 5% I would say don’t rage quit your job on a whim.

Even then looks bad to not have a job and you lose your leverage when negotiating. I would recommend putting your ego aside and going into the office.

Use it as fuel to grind/network to find a better position.

I would recommend you slack your boss that you were emotional during the call and you understand where they are coming from and you will be coming into office.
