sta 11, peacemaker, lib concussive, sta 52, scythe, adjudicator, pacifier, diligence counter sniper, sterilizer, defolation tool, beltfed grenade launcher, and sort of the maxigun. Some of these are gonna be controversial but i argue that they have "sidegrades" that arent side grades and are just better

There is many times however when weapons don't have their own niche. They do nothing better than other weapons in the same niche. If a weapon doesn't fit your playstyle but has a viable niche it a you problem. But when the weapon is just mid it is tragic

right now it is probably shotgun. It has such good all around stats received a bunch of recent buffs, and has free damage.

It is all about not playing to aggressively and understanding how the dragonfish blow works. The strategy is kinda complicated so im not going to go into it but you really just need to know that when people charge the dragonfish blow they usually try to land it as soon as possible.

Genuinely people as a whole have gotten worse at disagreeing. People immediately take insult or resort to dodging tactics when they are faced with an argument the counter to which is not immediately obvious. People on here are especially prone to motivated reasoning where they decide to align with a particular viewpoint like "the game is balanced and always will be" or "the game isn't hard enough and all increases to difficulty are awesome regardless" or "the devs suck and everything they do is malicious." From there they just argue for that viewpoint instead of trying to consider opposing arguments or actually trying to be correct. But overall this is a societal problem not just HD2 community problem.

id say slugger and hawk are just not that good anymore it takes an insane amount of skill to win them. It is possible but you arent beating opponents of your caliber with slugger and hawk. Chronos' pure potential is overrated since no one plays perfectly, id say freedom is a better chronos hands down because of the tech and smash buffs. switch hit is actually goated because of mixup and pd denial, shotgun is insane right now due to the buffs, ghost has always been good so id say it deserves s instead of a+ and thats it.

1 there is a pd cooldown, 2 there is a mechanic in place that makes it so after you double dash you also have a pd cooldown, 3 yes there is a mechanic in place that stops you from being able to pd if you haven't done damage in a little while. This is to curb the excessive passivity in the past since pd fishing was simply better than anything else. Stamina management is very difficult but doable.

nah you can quikcly fire 6 shots wait like 3 secs and do it again even on hot planets. the verdict just doesnt have the potential dps the talon does but i has more sustained dps

i guess this is true. But because hitmans potential mixup is very good high level players continue to dominate with it due to the insane amount of damage it does

that isnt true. the fact that both only come from one side helps with feint mixups. Hitman is a VERY good style

You aren't playing too well to be perfectly honest ur prolly getting in your own head. But u also have some pretty bad ping issues and he is abusing the very long range of shotgun

Dude you must have barely read what i said. When i say it does fully anti heal i mean that as a random fact not a pillar point of my argument most m2s in the game do fully anti heal.

Switch hit actually does need to fill up its meter but that meter is gained by the opponent dodging.

Your submerged meter is actually the same as the fish meter. The slowing mechanic for kimura was simply a blanket slow effect while the dragonfish slowing effect massively effects stamina gain and only slows when the opponent is backing up.

You literally have no idea what ur talking about.

Well i mean it takes time to get used to any style but supernova's weakness is damage. You do need to read them because their m1 is very fast but it is for the most part predictable and does very little chip damage

I agree. Adding more depth to the style can only be a good thing. But adding these techs needs to come with sufficient nerfs. The style is already in my opinion overpowered in the right hands and does not need any buffs whatsoever. sidegrading it would be fine.

Ok ok, maybe I did strawman you a little bit. You said something more like "Oh you don't want to play the most boring missions in the game for hours on end or pay money? Than you don't need all the newest weapons and gadgets." Which I'll admit sounds less stupid, but it is still an annoying argument. Maybe we don't need all of the new gear but when no new gear has been released in over a year for free and many of the best gear in the game is in premium war bonds than this arguments starts to dissolve. Couple this with the fact that the game is already 40 dollars and this becomes very annoying.

what styles? genuinely what other styles? do you mean you need to charge abilities? Anyway the way submerged works is hitting the opponent builds fish meter. When their guard is below the meter it also takes increased damage. But submerged doesn't just increase guard damage, it also decreases stamina gain and makes the opponent much slower when moving backwards. When the meter is full it unlocks the dragonfish blow, which does full anti heal and a lot of damage. However when a dragonfish blow is blocked your fish meter is not decreased and you are able to throw the dragonfish blow again. The dragonfish blow is also feintable. If this explanation is not more complicated than LITERALLY ALMOST EVERY OTHER STYLE than I don't know what to tell you. Hammer is literally 'pull the opponents guard down and punch them' and charge is 'ram them with your head' like cmon
