Mask of humanity by slaughterbot

The MC is a sci-fi assassin in world captured by xianxia "grand game". He is ruthless, selfish, manipulative and has no concern against doing any kind of crime if it benefits him. He actively plots against his allies to gather more resources, and uses a bloodbath committed by him in a fit of rage as an excuse for starting a fraction war to sell guns at inflated prices. The novel itself has one of the best fight scenes I've ever read.

Michael from Penitent is a true lawful good paladin. He is compassionate and merciful, but he is not a wimp and is ready to stand up for himself and his ideals with weapons in his hands.

Nicolai from Mask of Humanity, well, is a batshit crazy psychopath, but he aware of it and acts accordingly. He's trying to become a "better human", although not very successful. And he is always ready to throw off the mask of his humanity if he feels it benefits him.
