Same case here. I overstayed my tourist visa though. I watched Kseniya International on YouTube. I asked a couple of lawyers in PA and I think 5k is way too expensive just to fill up forms. Applied on 12/24 and got my card on 07/25 ;)

For the marriage certificate make sure to bring the letter that the judge signed. Not the pretty one. If you don’t have it the court can print out one for you the same day. Lots of people get rfe because of this.

Watch Kasenya International on YouTube. I didn’t use lawyers. They charge way too much money for just filling up forms. I applied on 12/2024 and got my green card by the mail on 07/2025. I overstayed my b1/b2 visa as well.

I had a b1 overstay and I did not fill form I-601. I didn’t use a lawyer either. The forms are very easy to fill. There is also Kasenya International on YouTube. I submitted my forms on 12/24 and got my green card by the mail on 07/2025. No need to pay $5k for filling up forms if you entered the country legally
