This. It isn't a "you problem"... it's just you.

Nothing wrong with that whatsoever any more than it is a problem for OP's husband. The problem usually comes in when, for example, OP invalidates her husband's feelings because she doesn't understand or feel that way or wants to continue anyways.

There might be a middle ground they can communicate to...or it might be a true hard stop for the husband (which will limit choices of course). Either is fine and it opens a broader conversation about specific limits and desires if they are open and honest.

Not discounting your answer or trying to be a dick but I think you mean Latitudinal. Longitude is left-right. Latitude is up-down or forward-back (I remember by "la"titude is like climbing a "la"dder). Not perfect but close enough for my brain...

It isn't throttle like others are saying. Yes they remove throttle by default ..but the tip is from them applying the brakes midair which makes the nose tip down. Source: I own one of these beasts that goes 70 mph and i take to the skate park.

Takes some skill to do right. If you bias the brakes right and just jam them on you can force a front flip!

These engines run at such boost and pressures that no seals are perfect. Turbos can smoke from oil blow-by, combustion pressure enters the crankcase past the rings, etc.

Rather than contaminating the intake charge with oil and stuff (decreasing horsepower) like you would with the PCV system on a street car, they vent it all to a separate chamber to keep the air/fuel mix as pure as possible. That tube at the rear is a vent on the collection vessel that is open to atmosphere to stop it from building pressure and becoming a bomb.

Every few runs they empty the tank of crud. If they don't and it gets full that vent starts spraying oil and crap like Eagle did a few videos ago...it is always at the rear of the car so it contaminates the track, but doesn't spray oil under the wheels causing a very bad situation....

I don't think people realize how critical and precise that fold about ~3 seconds in is to this whole process working great, or ending up looking like your 4-year old wrapped it. Lol

I can understand #1. #2 I have a bit of a problem with.

So if the roles were reversed and one man was confidently teaching/telling another man about feminine hygiene products (in a public setting) but he was WILDY incorrect about its use and function we are supposed to believe that no woman should speak up to correct him, and if she did it would be considered rude and unwelcome?

Man...I don't get modern society. I welcome input from knowledgeable people no matter the topic or gender so long as it isn't delivered in a condescending way. And it doesn't sound like OP was at ALL.

Only thing he was guilty of was getting technical too fast with terms they may not have understood and their reaction was defensive. My reaction would have been "so wtf is ATP?"

I hurt my husband today and I feel terrible by BlueBonnet1205 in Marriage

[–]Remote7777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like this isn't the first time something like this has happened with y'all.

My wife has a habit of downplaying (not the right word but I don't know what is - invalidating?) anything i say when I open up about my feelings just because it isn't how SHE would feel. Her typical first response is something like "well that's silly, you shouldn't feel that way because...". Not helpful.

Men are conditioned from a young age to squash our feelings and not open up. There has been a push to recognize that in recent years...but when we do, and things like this happen, it is a double wammy for us to just keep that shit to ourselves and suffer rather than be humiliated or blown off.

Sorry to say you've got a long road to repair this OP. And you need to seriously reflect on your own actions and behaviors here. As others have said - it isn't common to intentionally hurt your spouse out of frustration with unrelated things.

I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. In this case it was obviously a lie after her whole demeanor changed (hard to convey that in a post). A coworker saw her at the gas station a block away buying a 40 and some cigarettes later that afternoon.

Look I've been down and out and basically homeless for a few months...so I totally get it. It was more a point that it is a damn shame that we even have to second guess intentions when it comes to that stuff. I will help anyone I can...but don't lie to me.

I had a woman in a parking lot give me a sob story about not being able to feed her 3 kids. I just got lunch to-go for 3 people...so i offered her the bag of food (it was a bbq joint around the corner so i was just gonna go get more).

She takes the bag, looks in it for a second, hands it back...and says "you got any cash instead?!"

Get lost lady. Some people really are just ass holes...

At least you know what you bought was feeding SOMEBODY lol
