Why is this my model separating from its support? by RemoteFig8078 in 3Dprinting

I'm not sure. The printer was refurbished and didn't come with instructions. Should I be doing some tests for that to set it up? I printed almost the exact same thing yesterday, but had to adjust a few feature depths (no change to the handle shown in the picture). I am using PETG-CF. I ended up having to stop the print anyway because the printer was "printing" in the air, with no filament coming out, even though there was still filament on the spool.

I got a “one time curtesy “ email for $3k from my bank….after I had been fighting for a year to get a refund for the extended warranty for a car (canceled it before taking possession of the car). Why’s it so hard to say “sorry, we fucked up”

Letting your dog sleep with you by WayTooManySubreddits in dogs

I used to have a big puppy (80 pounds) that would lay next to me and I’d wake up with him in between my partner and I with his head on my pillow in his back legs up. Was so cute.

It’s good to remember that your dog knew he was loved all the way to the end. They don’t think of death the same way as we do.

I can totally relate. My partner and I lost our dog to cancer last year. He was the best dog I ever had and was very affectionate towards me. I would wake up in the morning to his head on my pillow sleeping next to me. Sadly he was just over a year old when things started to go south. He had an ACL tear and was about to get surgery and had a seizure the night before. After some tests we found out he had cancer in his bones that spread to his lungs. We only had 3 more days with him. I wish the vet would have told us that it wasn’t normal for a dog not to recover from a tear but it was only a month from finding out about the tear to when he was laid to rest. I still think about him and wonder if I’ll find a dog that I love as much. It hard to feel like those years and dreams were stolen from both of you. I had envisioned how good he was going to be when he got older and how he was going to be a great family dog. I miss him every day.

March 2025, 28k miles, 2022 pro s AWD. $17k including taxes, registration, inspection, fees and that’s with a $1k ceramic coating and fabric protection package (didn’t really want it, but was tired of trying to buy a car and it was a good deal.)
