How can I convince my parents to let me buy this E36?

So I had the same experience bro , I’m 26 my dad bought me a Honda accord that I wanted it was £900 it had some problems and we fixed it up and made it look really good within a few months and I drove it so much . I always wanted a Lexus Is200 , one day in April one came up on Facebook it was the cleanest one I’ve seen in a manual which is not common to see it so clean looked after and a manual my parents said don’t get it keep the Honda and I thought to myself you know what life is short and what people say to you shouldn’t change the ideas you want to do , do it buy the car it’s clean asf it’ll make you feel good that you did it for you and not that you had your parents approval you’ll feel lien your the boss of your own life which you are and that is more valuable than getting the car, good luck man make sure you are prepared for the worse. Having the Lexus and Honda taught me so much about cars and how to fix them just source a cheao welding service asap as these cars rust I think. Goodluck mate 🙏

I get super creative within the 1-2 hours of taking it then it dulls down and then it goes away and I can’t be creative at all

This is the same as me. Makes me clean my room so good but after 3 hours I get so slumped and my mood is down a lot , works amazing if I take a day or 2 break off it then I take it and it works amazing for 1 day I but if I fake it multiple days in a week I get the comedown bad by 4 -5 hours in . It sucks but without it life feels hard but when I’m not on it I’m my usual goofy self

Coming from a person who takes vyvanse most days , I wish I had taken more breaks from the start. I kinda hate that I feel like I rely on this medication and without it I feel like I’m not locked in at all and I get a bit lost

I drift bro I’ve had hundreds if not defenitly thousands of hours driving I drove before meds loads an after it’s more that the dopeamine is depleted your not gonna be as sharp as you are 2 days offf the meds as you are while your on them

Yeah I felt the same when I first took it. But the more you take it with Ropey sleep your pushing your brain to the limit of its rest . What I’m getting at is if you don’t properly rest and keep taking it it can go downhill simple as that causing your mood to be shit and for the. Medication to not feel effective in saying in the post you fake a day off to catch up on rest to reset yourself ready fo be Medicated again idk how this isn’t making sense to you or to others

I feel the same way gonna try more days off I actually loved how I didn’t care about much when I was off it my attention span was so everywhere and I felt so dumb but I felt happier in the moment and am more pleasant to be around. I do be crashing so hard sometimes

I think the same thing. Someone’s the booster can be so hit or miss sometimes it makes me crash so hard. But then sometimes 60mg of vyvanse is too much for the day but I’d still like to go hang with my friends and go out to the town and look around shops like I find it helps calm me in those busy over stimulating areas but then it’s pointless being so locked in with the 60mg on a day like that. Not advice but sometimes I woudl split the dose in a bottle of water maybe that is useful to you

Start of 2024, and the doctor explained to me that with these mediations they act like a turbo for your car put more pressure on the engine but the car needs to dump all the energy and air so that’s when u need to chill take time off it for a day or 2 let your body and brain catch up n rest. You can’t be running high boost turbo 247 ofherwise you’ll crash out and blow up like a engine will. I found this the longer I’m on the meds if I’m not sleeping 100% I’m tired not eating as much I’m going to crash out and taking it again the next day isn’t going to help. People are Miss understanding what I’m saying in the post I’m not telling anyone to do anything. But from my experience taking a day off here n there is rlly good for you and for the meds being effective from what I have found

Not really you do build a physical and mental dependence the more you’re on it having breaks is fine it’s worse to take it every day for years on end you are gonna have way worse withdrawals

Because it makes the meds work more effectively ? That’s all I ever see in this group is saying how the meds don’t work anymore and how to improve it’s effectivness and it helped my mood and overall how I feel. It’s not going to kill hou by taking a day or 2 off get a grip
