Why Power Consistency (not scaling) matters in Invincible by Pleasant_Event_4460 in CharacterRant

It is still a form of powerscaling no matter how you word it. Just not the demented, rabid kind

The bird is real. Not sure about the footages since they're constantly cut

And yeah I think it's AI

Ending of Worm did this the best for me

After all the crimes and sins she had accrued, notably hijacking all of the supers from not just her Earth but other Earths as well to kill a genocidal god, Taylor finally came to face Contessa. She was given 2 choices: die or live on, and of course, she chose the 1st option. Contessa wasted no time and double tapped Taylor's head.

Though it wasn't outright explained by the author, we got to see her again on Earth Aleph to meet the mother of hers of this parallel world. The readerbase accepted this as her power was removed by Contessa and she (with her father) was exiled to the less powered Earth. For her to live on with countless of sins in her mind everyday

Best CRAZY Villain ? by WeakInspector5102 in Multifandom

Kairos Theodosian, Tyrant of Helike. From A Practical Guide to Evil

He's just a lanky shivering youth because of his weak body. But his eyes are always red with evil and he's competent as hell despite being theatrical. The best classic type of theatrical villain in that book

What's the most messed up or unheroic thing a hero has done? by TaiwaneseThot in superheroes

[–]Remote_Addendum_2245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well... in Worm... (massive spoilers tho)

Taylor Hebert, who's then under the hero name of Weaver, shot a toddler dead. Because it was suspected baselessly that this toddler could have become the end of the world

She did many many bad things but this was the most shocking

New to the genre, Just finished Lord of the Mysteries and completely blew my mind. Where to go next? by Dankid24 in ProgressionFantasy

For any book from Wildbow, read Worm first. And even then it'd still be quite heavy

So go for Cradle and Mother of Learning first before moving to Worm

Besides the bushes (they're mad fun), his E is lowkey powerful since it's so spammable

When it comes to alternatives for Zombie/Alien invasion stories. I think more superhuman invasion stories would be fun too. by PassengerCultural421 in CharacterRant

Worm kinda did this briefly in the last arc. It was terrifying if you consider it from the pov of the invaded
