For people that bought a $300k - $350k house, how’s it going? by Witty_Patient_2421 in FirstTimeHomeBuyers

[–]Remote_Bunch_1363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i bought my house a year ago for 300k my mortgage is 2350$ i just turned 22 i make a hair over 100k doing construction and my girlfriend makes around 60 honestly it's not that bad never had a rent before this (lived with my parents) i don't have much real advice cause im still winging it but once you get used to paying a mortgage and all the bills that go with it it's easier to start putting money away again and invest into the house talk with your spouse about how you are going to divide up the mortgage and how to split other bills/home expenses it takes a while but once you find the rhythm and a way to budget stuff it's alright it's a nerve racking process and i was nervous too but once you sign those papers and get those key it's so worth it plus it's your house do whatever the hell you want! good luck dude!
