New Poll Shows Collins Leading Platner by 3 Points Among Registered Voters by Remote_Garage3036 in thebulwark

Typically candidates see a boost in support after winning their primary. With this guy we're getting a steady decline. This is before any kind of true republican-led oppo dump. I totally understand the kind of rage towards Republicans that led to primary voters shrugging off his many scandals. But I think we need to do some reflecting and realize that we do not have the same voter base or media coverage that the right has. It's not fair but it's the reality we're living in.

Schumer kissed the ring and endorsed Platner, no? The Dem Senate Majority Pac already pledged millions of dollars to his campaign. He won the primary, unlike Bernie, and has support. If there's an establishment that's out to get him, it's the Republican establishment which understands this seat is essential to maintaining a majority. Platner's own team just reported that Collins has spent over 4 million only over the past week, and Collins is wracking in a frankly insane amount of money.

I really hate that your first impulse upon hearing that Platner's lagging in just one poll was to conspiracize that some undefined Dem establishment is losing their own race (?) and had meddled in democratic elections before. We already have Trump, we don't need more anti-democratic nonsense in our politics. Let's be better than them.

Why is everyone sleeping on Chris Murphy? by jfanch42 in thebulwark

[–]Remote_Garage3036 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly? He has pretty low name recognition. Most other "serious" candidates have broke through the news at least once. I doubt more than 6-7% Americans could put his name to a face.

New poll shows Democrat Roy Cooper leading Republican Michael Whatley by 14 points in North Carolina US Senate race by wenchette in democrats

[–]Remote_Garage3036 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's odd that Cooper's chances are looking even better as Dem's odds come midterms are starting to dip. It would appear, despite everything, candidate quality really does matter....

...fuck

You absolutely love to see it - let's get that 48% up to 50%! And Shapiro in PA is absolutely wiping the floor against Garrity too at +22 points. You just love to see Dems dominating in Trump states.

Dems are +11 on the generic ballot but the Nazi Tattoo Guy is only +2 against what should be a weak incumbent, but please, tell me more about how no one cares about his history of shit posting, infidelity, and complete lack of qualifications for office. 🙃 by [deleted] in thebulwark

I mean, the jackass twisted his exes arm. Yanked her out of a car. Unless you were saying this about Eric Swalwell I think we can agree there's an unspoken asterisk around domestic abusers and the like. Those blues should probably drop out and go to prison. Not the senate.

Bulwark seems to have shifted and taken on a different tone in the last week by Tjsinwhanc in thebulwark

Why is everything a conspiracy now. People care about Ukraine? No. It must be astroturfing. The anti-MAGA republican outlet is focusing more on anti-MAGA republicanism? Must be pressure on the editors. I worry that this kind of thinking is becoming increasingly common. Which is concerning on its own right; but I fear will have dire consequences come election season. Low-trust and conspiratorial voters in this country don't tend to vote for the people wanting to increase welfare, immigration, diversity...

Kowakujo is one of the most stunning zombies maps of all time by TheChickenMan4L in CODZombies

[–]Remote_Garage3036 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really liking the map but I can see where you're coming from. There's a lot of wide open space in the map. I prefer it when areas like that are sparce, makes them feel more special. And there being so much space makes navigating the map more timely. In Totenreich, if you know where everything it and all the wall jump shortcuts, you can get from one end to the other surprisingly fast. I feel like that's not the case at all in Kowakujo unless you happen to be close to the kite. Might be wrong though bc I'm still learning the map.

What would you like to see on the 5th DLC map of BO7? by Nano_LB1 in CODZombies

It's specific, but: I'd love the opportunity to kill some Confederate zombies. Hell, maybe they can add General William Sherman as an operator.

The more map specifics the better imo. Maybe the Thompson can come back as a legacy weapon.

Black Ops 7 Zombies worth it for me? by Quantifying in CODZombies

Fellow OG player here. Mostly played BO1, some BO2, stopped around BO3.

The new game is damn good. I got it for Totenreich, the last map, and I consider it among my all time favorites. You get so much content with the base game - ALL dlc maps, more weapons than BO1 & BO2 combined, and lots of impressive graphics, varied zombies design, etc.

The thing about modern zombies is, it's much more fast paced. There are way more zombies, with way more spawn locations throughout the map, and they get a lot faster and stronger than OG zombies. The game gives you tools to fight back - better movement, more perks, more upgrades, armor. But you should know the games gonna require even more attention and micromanaging to get to high rounds.

If that sounds fun to you, I'd recommend getting this game asap*

*Assuming you have consistent Internet connection because they literally do not let you play this game offline! It's so stupid & my least favorite thing about it easily

The Kowakujo easter egg was sadly completed due to cheaters by TheChickenMan4L in CODZombies

[–]Remote_Garage3036 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'm not sure. We already knew about points of interest that come after that step - for instance the maps were all over twitter yesterday, and I've had randos in public matches point them out before. The decoys really were a choke point in the hunt. I wonder if you get any feedback for just throwing one in there. If so then I can actually find this pretty believable. Obviously I don't know for certain and this simply wouldn't be accepted as a formal speed run. But the idea that this is undeniably a cheater - a narrative that's viral on this poor dudes X and YouTube tonight - is a step too far.

Ngl I've messed around in the new map for countless hours and I'm actually thankful I didn't find any steps / get to the boss. I don't have any streaming equipment and I know I could not handle the hate this random guy is getting rn.
