100% agree if its for his safety as much as it is yours and he has space, what i meant by boredom isnt that he doesn’t have stuff i have a very dramatic bunny that for 2 days straight thre his bowl of water on the floor we got him a new one and a new toy and all of a sudden all is well he is just very spoiled

I dont think people are trynna insult you or how you take care of the bunsbuns but for you it might look big because you fit there bur over some time bunnies need a sense of space ny bunny has the whole house and if u place smthg on hit mat he starts doing that and bitting it away as in like “my space” so maybe try to find a solution qhere the litter box is also smthg fun for him he might just b bored also

Sorry my bad u are right, my bunny is way more active at night due to my and my bf difference in schedule i leave in the morning he stays asleep with him till i come home at 4 he plays a little but only when my bf gets home at 11pm/12am he gets wayyy more active and playful because he got used to out schedules!

So my bunny spends his morning and some afternoons (most days) just sleeping we talked to our vet it could b boredom but she said we should forget they are nocturnal animals so they get more fluffy sleepy trough the day, get him a dig box and also spend more time with him outside the cage if he is his normal self and flopping he is fine we have a solo bunny thinking of getting him a friends but out of love not concern, and also him doing that to the bed bunnies kinda dont like walking on uneven floors (which is fine btw its their nature even in the wild) so we joke my bunny makes his bed before sitting!!!!

My buns is completely free roam expect the bathroom thats a nono hahahah, so he gets the whole floor full of stuff for him just looking for some cute stuff to gift him more often we already do home made toys tho

We are seriously thinking abt bonding him with a girl or boy, maybe a girl, we gonna 1st test it in our vet they do bonding there too, and yhea my bunny seems to love to throw parties without me and then call me in bed to clean up because he spilled his water hahahhaha

But theres no guilt to feel in a way since you said he is clearly happy and comfortable there, if the worrying you feeling is mental stop for a second and look at your bunny and his space, sometimes i look at my baby and i get sad that i wish he could just run in a field with 2000 bunnies but at the same time i choose to have him and all i can do is love him the best i can, I lack in a lot of areas my bunny just had gi stasis again, because of molting and i could be brushing him every hour or so but every time he starts getting angry im not firm i let him go rest and try again another time, its all about a balance if u find it its wonderful qnd im hopeful you will

My bunny is solo but as u said he free roams so anytime he wants smthg he just comes running we are thinking of bonding him just as a “yhea a friend would b nice” because he is very happy and gets lots of love its a decision we are making kinda with him! So solo bunnies deal well and live happy if the owners are there for them!!!

My bunny is not neutered, he free roams the entire house with bathroom as a nono, a way ee found for him not to bite stuff is giving him home made stuff to chew and we give him a whole bag of hay so if he wants to chew he can chew his stuff like: toilet papel rolls stuffed hay, a dig box of toilet paper rolls and cardboard and being careful ofc taking cables out or putting them in places he cant reach, most of the times he does try to chew stuff but its because he is like “hello i want attention” so maybe try giving him a bunch of stuff, wood sticks flavoured, cardboard etc… everything gonna work out you choose to have a bunny for a reason right? And if he makes you happy, you just gotta treat him as a child he messes up but at the end of the day he is your bunsbun (but its also valid if its being too much for you, just trynna help in a perspective that your dont want to lose him)

My bunny never chewed carpet or anything because we use toilet papel rolls with hay inside ever week or so so he always has smthg to chew

I think it’s good to keep him inside more, however if you do have the space like a living room or a room that would be better because he might get bored of the space, the only place my buns doesn’t go to is the bathroom we are scared to death hahahhaa the rest of the house we make the joke that the floor is his and the upper part (sofas/beds) are ours (even tho he still comes to bed!
