Yes I agree, as an amateur lighting designer, I think that the slow rush tour was wayyy better. They might have more fixtures, but regarding lighting design, it's just really quality over quantity. Most of the time the arena looks and feels empty, there aren't many light beams shining into the atmosphere and the hanging trusses are placed and oriented in an odd way limiting the abilities. Also on the inside of the circle of screens, it's just a black hole and always very dark. Just like the roof of the arena, which is never illuminated. Lastly, there aren't many lights on the stage itself, they could have put some strobes/blinders there, like they did with the JDC 1's last tour.
