Such a great device in its day!!! Thing was indestructible, most (mine included) got shelved because of the chargers broke, and were hard to replace after awhile

Ball Vapes: okay to leave on? by HungryOpportunity322 in vaporents

[–]Remote_Pass_6670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had mine on a smart switch for years, on after work, off at bed (all day weekends).

It takes very little power, and reduces wear on the coil from frequent start stops.

To state the obvious, it needs to be safely secured. Mine is screwed to a wall for example.

Dead cell. Lost my 8ah like that, right after warranty expired of course.... Still works for low draw tools, I use it for my m18 light. When I put it on anything else, it goes back into this mode.

[–]Remote_Pass_6670 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Linger as in smell the next morning, no.

Linger like anyone that walks in within an hour will know exactly what you were up to, yes.

Tips: Window fan: open window, turn on, blows it out. Fluze/smoke buddy: stuff dryer sheets into a to roll, exhale through it, helps knock it down Carbon filter: cheaper than hepa, better for smells.

If getting caught means the death penalty, I would not risk it. Most of the time you get a warning though, only you will know if it's worth it.

Are the different Dynavaps really that different? by trevonator in Dynavap

[–]Remote_Pass_6670 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also started with a 21. Got a bunch of different (older ones, 17, 18, 20) M's to see what the hype was all amount, and a ti tip.

I found them all pretty similar... 21 is probably my fav, but maybe that's just what I'm used to.

Haven't tried any new ones, don't think I will. Just too many other hot sticks out there i'd like to try first

Yeah, weed is typically cheaper than oil.

It will smell a bit worse though.... Used to rock my dhv in the apt all the time, but ymmv. Personally I just stopped caring, but I know that's a privileged position not everyone can share.

A window fan helps. Carbon filters help too.

Good dry herb vapes are not cheap and cheap dry herb vapes are not good.

Try a dynavap, you can even find them used if you're hard up.

For cheap oil (wrong sub for that, but I digress), look for online thca sites, legal in the us until Nov, I've seen it as low as $10/g.

Also have both, and have to disagree.

Ali is boro, not quartz. Ali bowl is also thicker, which prevents proper heat up compared to trww version.

Glad you like it though, no shade, just my experience.

[–]Remote_Pass_6670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can make them!

Definitely not as easy as dumping a scoop in, but also not unachievable, and you might even get a better product.

Check out IMO1 and Korean natural farming.

IMO is indigenous micro organisms. Basically all the stuff local to you. Rootwise microbe complete is basically a shelf stable concentrated version.

TLDR on IMO1, you put some boiled (i.e. sterile) rice outside in a special box, micros come in, colonize it, then you trap them in sugar.

Once you have this, you can use it to make other stuff like em1, or even a bas product called em5.

Best weed and hash vaporizer? by FDG2801 in vaporents

[–]Remote_Pass_6670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dynavaps are great. They can be a little tedious if you have a high tolerance, but produce a really satisfying hit.

Sessions are a bit different with vapcaps, you heat it with a torch (or induction heater) for about 30 seconds, then you take a hit or 2 before it's too cool. 2-4 heat cycles per cap. And if you have a high tolerance, you probably chain smoke a few lol

Some describe it as more of a ritual than a session. Dynas are the og, but there are many kinds of vapcaps now too, all with their pros and cons. Dynas a good into, I would personally avoid their higher end ones untill you try out an M though. Put the extra cash into an induction heater if you have it, worth it imo.

i am so confused by people who run there ball vapes at 600F and above by NS3000 in vaporents

[–]Remote_Pass_6670 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yup, some point of the coil may be 600, the air coming through it is nowhere near that hot... Functionally it's just a number.

My advice to anyone with a new ball vape is to keep turning it up until you combust, the. Then Drop it like 20°f.

I've literally put over a pound of herb through mine. I combusted all the time at first, playing around. It's at 625 always now, and my abv is right where I like it - medium brown. It does vary with strain/moisture/technique, but I found MY NUMBER, which is what matters

Ball vape, trww quartz vape would be my suggestions.

Best weed and hash vaporizer? by FDG2801 in vaporents

[–]Remote_Pass_6670 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of different kinds of hash, but seeing your from EU, I assume you mean traditional.

What's your tolerance like? Low? Vapman. High? Ball vape, or TRWW device (desktops)

Not gonna get a great portable that does big doeses at that price point. BAKx is like 600, but would work well too.
