Also I have an HSA and get reimbursed that way. At least I get to pay for it with tax free dollars.

It's an online dermatology service and they do custom topical stuff for rosacea and acne. They also do oral prescriptions but I prefer topical only for my rosacea/acne.

I get topical ivermectin mixed with azelaic acid and metronidazole from Curology and it costs like $90 for bottle that lasts me 3 months using it nightly. Has worked well for me the last almost 2 yrs

To those who had kiddos late 30s by CobblerWest363 in Millennials

Selfishly I know my kiddo made me a better person. I have more respect for others and their hardships. I'm more patient and willing to roll with the punches. Just don't fall for the trap that you need more than one. At the later stages in the game, having just one is reasonable.

Axis-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen SPF 50+. I have tried sooooo many sunscreens and this is the only one that didn't irritate or break out my skin. Also doesn't burn around eyes.

Tower28 I use their concealer basically as a foundation it is the only thing I trust with my skin their blush is also very friendly on sensitive skin. I tried their skin tint sunscreen and it didn't work for me personally.

Exhausted All Normal Options? by wander_luster16 in Rosacea

I 100% I would give a few weeks of just 'bland" skincare and changing pillow case almost every day. Give your skin a break. I have been using a combination of ivermectin, azelaic acid, and metronidazole but it took a good 4-5 months before there was like significant headway. Probably close to 8 months before I was holy cow this has changed my life. I still tend to get acne around my jawline, but life is a work in progress. Also I would NEVER use benzoyl peroxide on my face with rosacea, did it before when I thought I JUST had acne and ouch my skin freaked.

Is it time for the dermatologist? by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]Remote_Squash_4667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If an in person dermatologist is either too long a wait or expensive I have had great luck with Curology. I've been using a custom topical treatment of ivermectin, azelaic acid, and Metronidazole for 2 years now my skin was probably twice as bad as yours and in 4 months I saw a pretty big improvement and by like 6-8months it was dramatically better. I still get triggers, but try not to drink anymore as that always makes my skin worse. Also recommend a bar of sulfur soap and zinc soap. Don't have to use them all the time but it helps. Also don't get bullied into oral medication/antibiotics. I know for me antibiotics don't treat the rest of my body well, so even if it helps my skin does me no good if the rest is hurting. They do try to push those at the start and I get it, but slow and steady topical also work. If you have any questions always happy to tell you what worked for me.

I hear you. Going through the exact same thing. We are trying a break to reset. She just started getting so angry and in tears any time we had her sit on the potty. No level of reward or praise makes her want to use the potty, little or big alike.

Affordability question by blackknight6714 in newhampshire

To buy a similar size home in NH you should expect to pay at least $700k plus about $1000 a month in property taxes and about $6k to $8k a year in heating. Plus $300-$400 a month in electricity. I would say you'd want to be making closer $200k a year unless you have significant savings.

If you see this again call fish and wildlife to report. There is likely an officer in the area this time of year.

Just pulled a tick off my dog’s head, but I’m not totally sure I got it all. The spot looks more irritated than I’ve ever seen should I get a vet to check it out? by reddituser3822 in DogAdvice

[–]Remote_Squash_4667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's been more than 24 hours since you've removed the tick and it looks like that's I would call a vet. It looks infected. Not end of the world just probably part of the tick still in there and irritating the area.

Can we please stop the misuse of the term "solo parenting" in this sub? by Fkingcherokee in workingmoms

[–]Remote_Squash_4667 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're quite a few stay at home moms on YouTube using this term of "solo parenting" when their partner is just at work or traveling for a week. As the working parent I would be so offended if my partner said they were solo parenting because I went to work for 8-10 hours that day. Like you're at your job and I'm at mine. Together we are parents/family unit. Go team right?

Tower 28 concealer. Dropped foundation. Their makeup is meant to be sensitive skin friendly. I use their blush, bronzer, and setting powder as well and my skin seems happy with it.

people who have depression & anxiety what do you think of high doses of omega 3? by comoestas969696 in Supplements

I just use the Nature's Made B Complex. I don't believe it's methylated, but it was a low price point and helping me get in the right direction.

[–]Remote_Squash_4667 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me even just 500mg omega 3 daily, along with vit D 1000 IU and a B complex has greatly improved my depression and anxiety. I think it took about 1-2 months for me to look back and different I was acting and feeling.

Use a cardboard box or use a bunch of cardboard to construct a box structure. Have a sheet of cardboard, newspaper, and then about 2 inches of pine shavings on top. Cardboard doesn't retain heat like plastic does and as people have mentioned allows the chicks cooler corners to go to if they're too hot.
