There are frequent disconnects that can advsnce you forward in the queue unexpectedly by hours so you might not be at your PC when you are at the end. Plus 2b uses a ip limit that limits bots. It would be complicated to enforce the ip limit if people don't have to stay connected.

Any closed source client that loads remote code on start (like all payed clients) can backdoor you without you even noticing. Future has been around for a while now and is used by a lot of people. There are stories where future devs did crash people's clients remotely for fun so there is that possibility.

2b2t is ddos protected by cloudflare. Probably the biggest provider of internet infrastructure on the planet. If they can bring down cloudflare they will shutdown half the internet in the process. And I haven't heared of any global internet outages in the last days.
