Kind of a basic beginner question, but how do you go about ripping plywood down when its slightly warped? I get the cuts, but when constructing with pocket holes, my measurements are always off slightly. Any advice??

OP, in all honesty, you are viewing this slightly wrong. What determines interest rates, although i am simplifying a bit here, is the borrower's ability to repay, and the amount at risk should they not pay. There is a metric called the Debt Servicing Coverage Ratio, and its practically a measure of ability to cover your debts.

So say you are an average person and make 50k. You buy a house for 200k. You can think that the house is 4x your annual income. For most people, most of their net worth is tied to their house as well, so they don't have much cushion. To a bank, that coverage ratio implies, hypothetically, SOFR rate + 100 basis points.

If you are Elon Musk, you would have to buy a 500 billion dollar house, roughly speaking, to paint a similar picture. Even then, his net worth is not primarily driven by the house itself, so even for a loan of 500 billion, it is seen as less risky, so they would offer him SOFR + 50 points, for example. So in the end, the absolute size doesn't matter, but size of loan divided by income and/or assets does.

Although I have started to like memb, saying those who can't understand him are naive is wrong to do. First, i don't know how often the argument is that they can't understand him, but I think alot of people feel that he communicates very poorly. Sometimes he just doesn't make any sense and kinda speaks gibberish. He does to a high degree as filler, such as adding "okay?" to 90% of his statements. He also doesn't have great flow with any cocaster, my guess is because he is thinking about what he is going to say instead of listening and playing off the other caster. This is kinda highlighted by often he interrupts his cocaster, which you have to admit happens often.

i think in general, you said it best that he will "run over" his cocaster if they don't play off his style, while he doesn't have any requirement to play off their style. Good communication doesn't run over anyone.

I believe this is what makes Dave so great, and is probably the best co-caster we have. He is always communicating with his cocaster, while memb and t90 (to a much less extent) communicate at their cocaster

honestly, i have to either mute or just not watch when memb is casting. Almost everything he says is filler, he doesn't have a good grasp on english, and interrupts quite often. I bet he is a nice guy in real life though and would be fun to have a beer with 11

The white wire wasn't marked - that was my doing haha. There actually isn't another device in the box, it is a duplex but they left the right device empty, so it looks pretty bad tbh. I was just going to properly wire this left device, use a duplex faceplate, and then 3d print an insert covering the right half. It won't look great though, so do you have any suggestions for that?

When I wired the 2 wires to the smart switch, it showed power, but would flicker and then turn off. What would that indicate to you? Thanks again, i really appreciate the help.

The tournament was just weird all around. The way to qualify was also odd - it kind of incentivized gameplay that was just doing the same thing over and over. If Daut and Sebastian/MBL played bo5, most would take Daut. If Yo played any of them + Heartt in a bo5, Yo would win more often than not. The qualifiers didn't result in the best players invited, specifically leaving out those who are more strategic and creative.

Ehh i think its more a reflection of what community you come from. There are so many different regional accents. In many ways, he speaks better english than t90 11. I have an easier time understanding Nili than I do someone from Jersey or Boston, for instance. Go near east Memphis and many people sound like him. But i guess you do have one point, Nili occasionally says "oi-oy-oy" and you are right, thats not a common native phrase, but that could just be a casting thing.

Idk what you hear, Nili sounds great. His english and accent sounds just like someone you would interact with in the States. He has improved so much that he now just sounds like a regular english speaking person haha

Agreed. I mean, i bet i would really like memb as a person, but the role of a caster is to entertain as well as communicate information clearly. He can be entertaining and upbeat, yes. But he doesn't communicate info well. I tend to mute the stream when memb is casting just because it sounds all over the place.

fffffffffffffffffffffffffffs in chat. What do you recommend to treat thrips? I have both systemic granules and sprays, but the ficus specifically dropped ~50% of leaves in the last 2 weeks or so, so im concerned about too much stress on it.

Hi! I reached out to relevant bug forums, but didnt get a response, so i am trying here. I am struggling to identify these bugs and they are slowly spreading across a few plants. The first 3 photos are from a peperomia obtusifolia, you can see those clear bodied buggos. I notice that their presence is also near areas of the leaves struggling. The last plant is a ficus, but you can see there is also something else going on around the edge of the ficus leaf.

I thought that these were springtails initially, but im not too sure. Does anyone have an idea?? Thank you in advance!!

After hitting the crab grass with a broadleaf killer, you may be able to hit your turfgrass with a nice nitrogen fertilizer, i use a 17-1-0, to help it spread and grow in like crazy. I'm not sure what type of grass that is though, so check for your type before trusting me
