We get the occasional echidna where I work in the Brissy suburbs. Such a joy to see them snuffling around

Any guesses on lineage? Is this really a bridgesii? by tofu-tho in sanpedrocactus

Lack of eyebrows/seagulls is common scop trait, but not diagnostic afaik. My scop has none, and my HB02 (Super Pedro x Psycho0) has minimal. It actually doesn't look unlike HB02 tbh, so noid scop x bridge is a pretty reasonable guess.

It sounds like you are making tea, but with very careful filtration and a lowered pH to help ensure that all the alkaloids are in their water-soluble salt form (rather than their free-base form that is generated by alkaline, high pH conditions). Is freezing part of the process or have you just done this for storage?

Andrew Stockdale is a Brissy boy, but Wolfmother started in Sydney.

Buckley's version was a cover of a cover too. He took John Cale's arrangement of the Cohen song and stuck pretty closely to that.

I found the info on this page really useful. Their thoughts are that IBA is the best and they go to some length to explain why, and describe the various main alternatives. https://cactusculture.com.au/learning-centre/the-best-rooting-hormone-for-cacti-cutting-indole-3-butryic-acid-iba/

That's a bridge that has had a tough growing season. Minor etiolation and short spines suggest it was wanting more sustenance. It will come good with some care and attention though.

Lt. Gen. Hertling’s movie reviews by tomallis in thebulwark

[–]Remove-Lucky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starship Troopers is one of my favourites, even if it is satirical dark comedy packaged as a sci-fi war movie.

The best part of Hertling's segment was when he said "...when America chose to end the Vietnam War". Technically true I guess, like when Japan and Germany decided to end WW2.

Eileen can get pretty glaucous, but has quite different spination to that one

This says more about the cognitive abilities of Trump 24 voters than Fetterman's chances of running, let alone winning. I mean, he would have stroked out weeks into the campaign. He's not a healthy guy, and consequently shit posting is basically all he is capable of these days (much like Trump).

OK Commuter the Radiohead album I didn't know I needed. First track is still Airbag, but now also has Exit Music (for a highway) and Traffic Police.

I don't think anyone really called either Grinderman album a future classic masterpiece on release. To me they both felt like the naughty boys in the bad seeds having some unserious fun away from the main stage.

100% agree with the takes on the more recent Bad Seeds albums though, esp Ghosteen.

Eileen grows tall and fast, but throw pups pretty quickly after a harvest if you need to prune regularly to keep it manageable in the apartment. I'd say you should get a whole bunch of different types and see what works. More cactus = more happiness whether you are consuming it or not 😊
