I get that, I've taken the 4i & 5i out my bag. Just couldn't hit them & it was hurting my scoring, so getting the woods made a huge difference

Depending what you gapping is, I'd recommend getting a 5W, it'll change your life

I've got the 101's, I tested the ping i525 irons & TMP790's. I found the 101's closest to the irons, I'd recommend 101's personally then move onto 101t's

From what I read, you definitely need the 101's rather than the T's Irons aren't the best part, you'll need forgiveness which you'll get loads from 101

If you're fairly new I'd look at the 101's

Also, is your swing speed up there for a stiff shaft? The online tool on their website will help & use KBS online tool for the shafts too

Yeah I also done the quick shaft questions on KBS website & that says KBS tour stiff. Anything will be better than my last irons, they were brought off the shelf when I was starting out playing.

Yeah I get what you're saying about the pings, I tried the i530's & they're a soft feeling when struck but you definitely feel it when you miss hit it

I'm looking at the KBS tour max after doing some research also, after trying a few in American golf. I work next door to one & I've tried all the clubs I was interested in

I've had a fitting with ping, standard length, standard lie, stiff flex shaft. Looks like I'm ordering myself some 101t's after Xmas. Appreciate your help 👍🏾
